Forge is great, one of the best even; but why. 343 invested a pile of money into developing this forge when they could have used that money elsewhere. A lot of the maps that we have are remixes. BTB, the most played game mode in the last few Halos, is now the most unentertaining modes I’ve played on any game ever. I didn’t pay the community to make bad maps only to have 343 put them in BTB and brag about it. Literally that’s bragging about -Yoink!- me off lol. The community has made GREAT BTB maps: perfectly premastered and great new ones; but 343 literally chose the worst ones they could find. What happened to each team getting two scorpions and two banshees and more. We have few game modes too. As we all know, the lack of game modes has ruined this game. The few times they added new games modes, it was just a few. One of these, griffball, is just a goof. Yeah, some people like it; but that is not an FPS mode. That’s just a kill time mode. They game us the option to make oddball and ricochet, but they won’t actually give it to us. Those two are literally some of my favs. I here people tell me, “go to custom games.” I can’t I only have one remaining friend lest who even cares for Halo, and he can’t even get on that much. You would have to be lucky enough to friends that have Xboxes, still play Halo, and get on at the same time. That is a least 7 friends. Most people do not have this, and I’m not wasting my time with randoms in CG. So, why waste the time in Forge if CG is dead for most people. 343 has spent sooo much money in forge. Why not invest that money into giving us a better game. Most people will never play on forge maps, the maps they make will never be played on, and so one. Forge is great, but for most player it’s really useless. 343 could have given us way better maps, a better BTB, better DLCs, and so much more. Why forge. why. I know I’m going to get those people to argue with every point that is posted on this website… I will be ignoring you. Fore anyone else who wanted a better game over forge, please rant below.

I wholeheartedly disagree. Forge is awesome and so are custom games. What evidence do you have that custom games are dead? I play them alot and so do many others.
I agree the game needs more game modes but removing forge is not going to give them to us.

This has got to be a troll post. Just because you’re unlucky enough to not have friends or be sociable enough to engage with randoms, does not mean that Customs are dead. People from matchmaking invite me all the time and I always join, because I want to enjoy the game with other people. Go on to YouTube, the forums, or just invite random people.
