This is on the UNSC INFINITY where SPARTANS train in multiplayer, and from the screen shots with the Elites they look evil. Why would they return in multiplayer if it is training with spartans and they look evil. And the post below about the Elites doesn’t make sense. Why would a spartan wan’t to look like a Elite if they are evil???
That’s a cannotical way to put it.
I think the reality is that people where butthurt that elites had huge heads of which to shoot at.
Which effects said complainers in no way what-so-ever if they choose to not use the elite model.
It won’t happen because they’ve confirmed you won’t play as them.
Simple as that
They’re just not going to happen because of the unequal hit boxes. Bungie had to hunch the elites over in Halo 3 to try get it near to the size of the spartan model. From the pictures, it looks as if 343i hasn’t gone that route.
I really want Mixed species slayer back

Welp, there you go.

Multiplayer takes place in virtual reality - you could easily be given the option to appear as an Elite (at least in Social/Invasion), with the canonical explanation that it better simulates enemy encounters or something.
This is not a logical explanation because if Spartans trained with elites, they would be better prepared for an actual encounter outside the infinity
They could return as holographic simulations? Right? RIGHT?
Solution: Make Elites look less evil. Ta-Da!
