Why dont we just wait till its out

There are a lot of people who are frustrated and angry with the gameplay that was released. My only gripe was some of the graphics quality but that is it and thats something that will most likely be fixed

ske7ch wants to know what we thought of the first look at the Halo Infinite campaign

Unyshek wants to know overall what did we think

Halo fan feedback made 343i proclaim that every future mainline Halo game will have split screen.

Halo fan feedback made 343i add LAN functionality to Halo MCC.

Halo fan feedback made the MCC to come to PC.

Halo fans, keep the respectful, constructive feedback coming.

If we just wait til it’s out, we’ll be stuck with whatever issues are still present. We need to speak out against the problems we see now so that they can hopefully be addressed BEFORE it’s out.

In fairness both 1 and 2 were both already on PC at one point, and with Microsoft finally acknowledging PC again as well as having Halo spin offs already on PC, It was only a matter of time till Microsoft realized how much additional money they could rake in by bring the rest of Halo to PC

The lack of information and communication from 343 as always is the problem here.Again we won’t know almost anything about the game till it comes out.

By the time it is out, they already have your money (or don’t).

Its stunning to me to see that so many people are frustrated and angry about sprint. News flash: you don’t have to use sprint! You can walk everywhere if sprint bothers you that much. Today’s announcement was exciting and I can’t wait to see and hear more! Halo Infinite is going to be legendary!

You know…I’ve been pretty vocal on these forums over the past year.

Saying that the silence from 343 is concerning (as if they’re hiding something)

& BOI was I right. They should not have shown that & should have hid that thing until it was ready to be seen.

Man, them visuals were just OBJECTIVELY not good. (I like the art direction - I’m speaking to the visual fidelity of what we saw)

I would rather be able to shoot, throw grenades, and melee while I sprint.

You must not like reading response considering this is atleast the second time your second time telling others to handicap themselves, and you were answered back then.

That sounds like it would be incredibly difficult to do.

Its not a handicap and oh by the way, what we saw yesterday was a campaign demo. We haven’t seen or heard anything regarding the multiplayer aspect of things. People shouldn’t assume that everything we saw in the campaign demo is going to be in multiplayer.

The reason people are Frustrated and Angry are the same reason I am. 343 has a serious problem with communicating with us. They have a problem with listening to us. they have had a problem with lying to us.
We’ve gone 5 years without a major Halo game and back in 2018 they announced that their would be Flights for the next halo game. Within 5 years, this is what they have to show, and the game is supposed to come out this year. Now if this was shown back it 2018-2019 then im sure ppl would just say “hey its a WIP”

We see chief step out into a poorly rendered world, he starts sprinting, and the hog doesn’t even sound like a warthog.
Like we’ve been asking for a return to classic game play since Reach. (I enjoy reach but it started the decline.)
I really feel like 343 just says “-Yoink- those older fans, lets see what other shooters and games are doing.”
I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way at this point.
Sure we are playing chief again, sure his armor looks better (Im still sure 343 gonna throw the shiny plastic on it instead of grit)
But why can’t they let go of sprint and now slide.
Campaign is fine for that grapple hook but I have a strong feeling its going to be in pvp which I don’t want.
Some say its impossible to please every Halo fan, but 343 doesn’t even try to give us a classic game.
They don’t even try to give us a more gritty kinda H3&Reach kinda look.

We had 2 games that copied other shooters, lets get back to Halo for a change.

Pretty sure intentionally noy using mechanics that exist in the game which it takes into account in balance and design processes, is handicapping yourself.

Remember Halo 2 customs? It had a handicap option which lowered your shields and damage output.

Or are you going to suggest intentionally not using all of your shields and damage, is not handicapping yourself?
That the menu option was mislabled?
Or, intentionally not jumping isn’t handicapping yourself?

Just because I wouldn’t use sprint, jumping or whatever, wouldn’t stop me being affected by others using it, others would still jump, sprint and so forth, the design decisions on map related to these mechanics would still be in place, the balancing steps taken would still be in effect.

Isn’t a short definition of a handicap, an impaired or incapable bodily or mental function?
But intentionally keeping sprint “incapable”, is not a handicap?

And you assume I don’t hold the campaign under the same standards as multiplayer?
Don’t assume…

If you’ve played the game long enough, you should know how to attack and defend yourself against those who are reliant upon armor abilities. If you see that as a handicap, that’s on you. Bottom line is that sprint has been confirmed for *Halo Infinite.*I assume that people will assume so assuming will always be an assumption.

Yes, but in a civilized, constructive way.
Calling the game garbage or trash and
insulting 343i and their developers won’t help anyone to address anything.

Seriously, Waypoint isn’t the place to rant and vent.
People should do that stuff on Twitter, Instagram, Twitch, anywhere but here.
This is a place for discussions and debates, not to spread negativity and toxicity.
Speaking out is good. Flaming is not.

Oh, my ga I agree with the title of this thing so much! Anywhere you go on this site i hear people complaining, and complaining, about something we have almost no info on.(until yesterday, of course.)please, PLEASE, withhold your complaints until you have something to complain about!

P.S: I donn’t actually expect any of the haters to stop. It was more like wishful thinking.

All anyone needs to really do is temper their expectations and wait till the next info drops.

Exactly, if we just pretend everything is perfect 343 won’t bother to change anything that’s currently wrong with it, not that they actually listen to us in the first place

Then no one would do nothing but sprint

Criticism still needs to be given where it counts as model touch ups and texture addition ideas that were given could be added within this period before launch.
