Why don't people use mics on matchmaking????

I’m sick and tired of jumping on warzone and arena and I’m the only person talking on the team. It also feels half the players don’t know what they are doing and making coordinated assaults and defending a nightmare. Are you afraid or something? It is much more enjoyable with communication!

Seriously though, give it a try, you will probably thank me later.

It because most players use their mics to abuse other players, so people have gradually stopped using their mics completely.

Essentially this is the reason. I’ve been verbally cussed at and abused a lot in matchmaking so I generally roll with out a mic unless i’m playing with friends.
Not very fun to be called names just because we don’t follow some guys commands.

I use mine, because I’m in a party with my fireteam.

I’m actually surprised how many people use mics. I’m used to being the only person communicating but have usually had at least one or two people chatting in most matches.

I only use mine if I see other people to talk to… which is rare now days.

When people use the mics can you see the name on the screen who talking?. The new lobby you cant tell if anyone using mics or not!

Because the lobby system is terrible. You don’t even know who’s in the lobby.

Because, many people always to talk to their selves while playing for random reasons

i dont use my mic because im shy, unless im playing with friends of course.

Because abloo bloo bloo I’m triggered by someone telling me that I have no business being ranked the same as them :_;

Basically, the internet has been bastardized by -Yoink-.

I lost my mic

I’m quite fine not hearing people loudly slurping their drinks over their mic…

I just keep mine muted most of the time. There’s been a grand total of TWO games where I actually spoke in a game. I’m just not that talkative unless I’m with friends

because they are afraid

I love to use my mic when munching on some doritos

  1. I dont really like talking to people I dont know.
  2. I have a 2 year old who constantly wines.
  3. I forget my mic is on and start talking to my wife about personal -Yoink-.

Well I’m usually in a party and I do use a mic just not in game, unless I am not in a party. Sorry about your luck.

I’ll use my mic when I see teammates actually communicating about the game and trying to win. I would say 90% of the time it’s just a bunch of random cussing that I’m not interested in hearing though.

Because using mic could mean talking to other people. Why would I do that?
