I have it set to receive notifications via email but I don’t get them.
At least I think I do.
Also, thelittlemoa previously stated that the private message thing should be automatically set so we all can receive PM’s from anyone as opposed to it being set to only receive them from buddies only.

They should really turn it back on in my opinion.
I get emailed when I get messages on the Epic forums and I find it very useful.

Yes they should, I didn’t even know about it, and I am sure 98% of the forum-goers don’t know either.
It would be much easier to continue conversations on forums if I get a notification via emails. I believe I have them on now and I still don’t get them.
It was disabled as a measure to increase stability back when the site’s servers went down during E3 2012. I’m no web administrator, but I’m fairly certain the servers no longer suffer from the major stability problems anymore, and I don’t see why they couldn’t be re-enabled again. As I mentioned, though, I’m not a server administrator…
