How come 343i don’t use community made maps in matchmaking? The community can produce far more enjoyable and interesting maps that they can but they don’t use them in play lists.
It usually wouldn’t bother me but I’m currently making I sweetass map for Dominion and I know it will never get used.
It brings an extremely CQC style to playing Dominion but that’s as much as I will say because I don’t want the idea stealing.
It just annoys me that it will be a waste of time because it won’t get used. It won’t get used in custom games either because none of my friends will play Halo 4 any more and nobody plays custom games any way. It’s a real shame because I think people would enjoy my map.
Do you think its better that 343i don’t use community made maps?
They do. They’re just not in every playlist as of yet.
Dude they use tons of community made maps.
However if you consider forging a waste of time unless it gets used matchmaking then you are 100% wasting your time and should stop forging.
Ooh, imagine an indoor version of Dominion with no vehicles and less power weapons. I’d definitely want to try that out!
Community maps are overflowing in other playlists.
i.e. IS, FFA gametypes.
The Community Forge Map Playlist also had forge maps.
I’d actually appreciate it if they brought the community playlist back and only gently sprinkled other playlists with community maps (rather that outright smothering a few… Infinity Slayer is being utterly drowned in them).
You’re joking right?
I don’t think I’ve played any of the default maps all year, 80% of my games are forge variants!
I’m trying to make a Relic remake from Halo 2 or atleast heavy inspired.
Relic is very shiny.
There are more then enough custom made maps in halo 4 we don’t need this turning into reach where every other game was a custom map. Especially with people still hunting for dlc related achievements.
Close quarters Dominion, that sounds interesting.
Because everything is white, or everything is grey due to the lighting while players are glowing an iridescent cobalt or light red.
