I know how crappy Halo 5’s theater is(and it still isn’t freaking fixed). But why doesn’t Halo 5 have Campaign theater? Halo 4 didn’t have this either and I wonder why. Halo CE, 2, 3, ODST and Reach had this but why not Halo 4 and 5? Especially when Lord Zedd was able to get Campaign Theater working completely fine in Halo 4(funny thing is 343 actually banned him for doing that too which showed how salty they were about that).
Come on. It shouldn’t be difficult to add Campaign Theater. Especially when there’s theater for Arena and Warzone.
I don’t think there’s much of a demand for it. Especially considering many factors:
- As I’m sure you know, the way halos theater system requires a video to be watched from the start. You can typically fast forward, but this is incredibly tedious - I don’t think too many people used the feature in past Halos - The guide-guide-Y button combo perfectly suffices if something interesting or out of the ordinary happens. For example, I captured this clip of a Tanaka doing something strange and it was much easier than using a Halo campaign theater system. In summary, I think there’s not much demand for it and I think there is a better system in place.
Hope I’ve helped shed some light on your inquiry! Cheers!

I actually used it a lot. I loved watching me doing the campaign in theater and taking awesome screenshots. My main issue is it shouldn’t need demand for it. Especially if it was a staple in Halo since CE I believe or at the very least Halo 3. I can’t remember if this was a feature since the beginning.
