Why doesn't 343i "experiment" with their prices by making things cheaper?

Every time the discussion about store prices comes up, 343i answers with “the prices go up because rarity/we are still experimenting with it”. Kind of a lame argument I think.

Well, I have an idea. Experiment all you want by making things cheaper. Why do the prices only go up? Can’t you make them lower, for the “experiment’s” sake? I’m sure people would buy 1,200k bundles a lot more if they were 800 instead. But no, that can’t be part of the “experiment”, can it?

I commited the error of buying $20 worth on credits, and lord I wish I could refund it. I have so much more to say about the store in general, complaints mostly, but I won’t waste my time with it. Most of it has already been said either by youtubers, or more people on this forums, even Reddit.

So all I wanna say is: Why does this “experimentation” thing apply only to making things more expensive, why not try both ways?

It’s all malarky. Any matured adult can plainly see that 343 is just milking Halo Infinite any way they can. There is no significance for rarity types. They slapped one or two “Legendary” items and an “Epic” emblem inside of a bundle and somehow it automatically became more expensive than the six month Battle Pass which also has several more “Epic” and “Legendary” unlocks. The rarity types make no sense at all and just seem like another ruse to set up the younger or newer players into thinking they are getting quality stuff like the other games on the market.

Iv’e always found less is more, to sell something at 10 bucks you might get for example 100 people buying, sell the same thing at 5 bucks you’ll most likely get 200 people buying…

It worked when I was in sales, and ended up with bigger profit, who cares what other companies doing, be different and new with f2p, end result is happier fan base and more likely I would actually buy something from the store
