Why does Waypoint not record some games?

Its annoying enough as it is when it counts your games as DNF despite finishing the game but something I’ve been noticing recently is that maybe one every 10 of my games are not counted. I just lost out a game on haven where I got an extermination and wanted to update my stats on Halo Tracker but apparently the game never existed according to Waypoint which is clearly wrong when I saved the clip.

it’s been happening since day one, probably makes up 85% of my DNF on my service record LOL XD Anyways from my personal experience instantly backing out of post-game lobby causes this, otherwise host migration near the end of match does trigger it sometimes. What I usually do after each match is stay in the post game lobby until vote options appear, so it allows previous match stats to save.
