Why does this game even have quit bans? More people get banned from BS disconnections than from legit quitters.

Got to play 3 games of Halo 3 with my buddy last night… over the course of 2.5 hours since one of us got kicked/disconnected before the match even started in nearly every game, resulting in that person getting increasingly long bans from even trying again. The playerbase for MCC is not large enough to warrant something that inhibits people that WANT to play MCC from doing so.

Side note: Anyone have a fix for this? I’m playing on Series X, it’s EXTREMELY frustrating. My connection is very fast so that isn’t it.

MCC matchmaking has been broken since April 1st.

I agree, automated bans should be removed until MM has been fixed.

Anyone know if it’s specific hardware that’s getting people kicked out of matches? I played like 10 matches last night and I saw people get kicked but I wasn’t ever kicked personally, some friends of mine were also getting kicked, wondering if it’s a hardware thing?

Im personally on Series X, have not been able to play a single game since the past 2 or 3 days.
Best way to find out would be to make a poll

Edit: ended up making a poll for the platform affected, link bellow to access the poll:

I played for hours yesterday and dropped out of around 15-20 games and did not catch a single ban. On the first day of the issues occurring I did though, but not since then.

The problem is when a game is created thats 3v2, if you leave on the team of 3 you’ll be banned unless you’re the last person.

I must have gotten extremely lucky then.

Welcome to halo. They game that everyone loves but developers want to watch you suffer playing.

I wonder why 343 stuck by the ban implementation and didnt instead keep bans if you quit an egregious amount and instead remove XP if you leave. Seems like a better deterrent.
