Why does the warthog in Halo 4 have

Why does the warthog in Halo 4 have gas canisters on the back? The warthog like most UNSC ground vehicles uses hydrogen for power not gasoline.

What makes you think those are Gas cans? maybe they’re water cans?

> What makes you think those are Gas cans? maybe they’re water cans?

This. I was always under the impression that those cans carried water.

Gatorade helps everyone move forward.

red usaly = flamibale

> What makes you think those are Gas cans? maybe they’re water cans?

This.

And I love the way they fall off when its taking damage.

> red usaly = flamibale

And yet the fuel cans I deal with in the Army are never red… explain the logic in that… wait… this is the military we’re talking about… not a lot of things make sense in the military.

They hold water, not gasoline.

343 decided that the Warthog in Halo Reach was not enough of a flaming deathtrap, so they upped the ante.

Maybe those are the hydrogen tanks or whatever. Although, for some reason putting hydrogen tanks on the back of a military vehicle sounds a little silly. I wonder why

Read my last post, it explains things a little. Also, Hydrogen is a gas, they wouldn’t put it into a fuel tank like that, they’d most likely have a Water to hydrogen converter that converts water into hydrogen. The Hydrogen engine is already a converter, but instead of turning water into hydrogen, it’s turning hydrogen into water. Plus it’s safer to have the vehicle’s stored fuel to be water, it doesn’t blow up when you light it on fire.

Not in real life.

I was mainly saying that to please the OP. I agree that it’s probably water.

Also I wanted to bring up the Hindenburg.

Hindenburg was more or less an air ship with Hydrogen balloons inside of it. a Hydrogen engine wouldn’t have enough hydrogen at any given time to blow up more than maybe a fire cracker.

Not anymore. Now red = strawberry flavored gatorade.

Want see that in action.
Any link, please? Longbow videos? (there are too many of those. :/)

This made me laugh, because that’s my favorite flavor of Gatorade!

But video games are really the only ones who use the “Red means flammable” In the real world, there is a large number of color codes that mean flammable, and normally, if there’s a logo that looks like fire, her der, it must be flammable, not because the tank is red. I have tanks that have gases I use for welding, and for my cutting touch, the only one that’s “red” is more of a brownish red, or an orange, and it’s not flammable. Just because a container is red, doesn’t mean it’s flammable. Lets look at fire extinguishers, generally, what color are they? Red! Is the contents of Fire Extinguishers flammable? Generally, no, if it was flammable, wouldn’t that defeat the prepuce of the Fire Extinguisher?

ODST N3CR0, I don’t think you’re really very old, or deal with a lot of flammable gases, or things of that nature, but trust me when I say, I know more than what I think you know. I am a certified welder in the State of Utah, a trained Enriched Air SCUBA Diver, and a trained 92 Foxtrot Petroleum Supply Specialist in the US Army Reserves, who’ve also been slightly trained on haz-mat. I do believe I’m very knowable on the subject of fuels and rather or not they catch on fire, or go boom.

Check some of the RTX 5v5 videos, I think I saw them fall of in the RTvCommunity 5v5 on Sunday.

In Game logic, red things (usually barrels and boxes) should explode

Okay. A lot of you are talking out of your rear ends about things you don’t know about. I work in the real world that you guys talk about in emergency response. While red doesn’t have to denote any thing it is pretty universal for explosives and bio hazards.

The military may not always use red because they may be camouflaging. That would make sense since the last thing you want on a military vehicle is a big red target that sticks out.

The last color you would want to make a water container is red for the reasons I stated in the 1st paragraph.

To me this isn’t a big deal but it’s a funny catch by the OP.
