I was in a game were my team mate spent more time dead than alive i had less deaths more kills and more assists and he still did more damage? It was a game that " i was supposed to lose" though, so maybe thats why.
In those games you have to lose with the low win percentage there is blank shots, blank melees, aim off, and bad spawns that actually help the other team with the high win percentage.
Damage is not the same as kills. If you friend dies by en enemy, but he got that enemy down to being oneshot and you then finished him off, then you get the kill, but your friend did the most damage.
On the other side you can also go clearly positive (KDA of 10 or more), but still have about 50-50 in damage done and recieved. For instance, if an enemy ambushed you, but you could espace just in time, get your shields back up and then finish him off in a close firefight, your enemy would have done way more damage then you, even though you got the kill and he didn’t.
