Why does the motion tracker have a compass?

Specifically, one that doesn’t actually aid in navigation?

If you look at your motion tracker, there are four lines that do not rotate with your field of view indicator.

This means it is a compass. A completely useless compass that serves no function except to remind you of the fact that you have no way of telling which way is north aside from memorizing landmarks.

If you go on Forge, you can verify that when an object is pointed at 0º, it is aligned with one of those lines. If you’re going to go through the trouble of making a functional compass, why not, you know, slap an “N” on one of those lines so we can actually make use of it?

Would be really nice when I hear “East Armory lost!” but I can’t see the icon for the east armory or when using team chat.
