Why does the game just end instantly?

That little bit of time between “game over” and the black screen was always something I loved. Sure, we may have taken it for granted, but why exactly does it have to be taken away from us?

I see a lot* of unnecessary changes being made to this game.

How is that relevant?

RIP -Yoink!- </3.

i made a comment about this after the first sniper gameplay video but nobody seemed to care because the look of the sniper was the topic of the moment. I agree though i want it back. This and kill boundaries are the only thing that im disappointed in though so im still stoked for the game.

You don’t understand the simple purpose of that link?

Yes, what better way to immediately cool off after an intense game than to Rocket your teammates? :stuck_out_tongue:

The end game thing right now takes me too much by surprise and makes it unsatisfying without the “fade off and kill everything part”.

I’m pretty sure they said it will be as normal come the final build.

Yeah, this bugs me too. I wonder why 343 felt they needed to change such a small aspect of multiplayer that has no bearing on the gameplay itself, but feels essential to Halo. In those final seconds of reflection you either celebrate your victory or get an extra little chance for revenge.

I hope it’s not some “everything needs to be in-canon” reason, like “Spartans on the Infinity wouldn’t kill their teammates at the end of training simulations.”

I sure hope so…I have some extremely fond memories of those brief seconds.

Because I think that 343industries is trying to introduce a new type of game play.
