Why does the BR only have 36 rounds?

The BR in Halo 4 takes 5 bursts to kill (if ended with a headshot) so shouldn’t the magazine be increased to 45 to make for 3 “perfect” kills per magazine?

I remember the DMR in the Reach beta had 12 shots but was increased to 15 in the final game to make for 3 “perfect” kills per magazine, so why not the BR in Halo 4?

This change would make the BR more balanced against the DMR as I’m assuming that the DMR is keeping it’s 5 shots to kill as well as its 15 bullet magazine.

Just throwing ideas around here…

I did find this to be weird. But maybe some changes will come around once the game is released. If not I guess I’ll learn to deal with it.

T the moment there is ZERO rational reasons to use the BR over the DMR.

they should keep br 4sk, dmr 5sk, and carbine 6sk if you ask me, and the fully automatic weapons like th AR and storm rifle should actually be able to take on the three semi- automatic headshot weapons, because reach’s fully autos were TERRIBLE, i wanted to cry when i couldnt find a dmr or needle rifle in reach and i had to use an AR or plasma rifle or repeater.

I had put a post on the same line - BR if 5sk should have 45 rounds !!!

Let’s not forget that stats will be changed prior to launch…

4sk = 3 kills per clip
5sk = 2.5 kills per clip

Im thinking 343i will change it to a 4sk but only time will tell

It holds more bullets though, in previous games you had 108+36 bullets total, now I saw somebody walking with 190+36 bullets.
