I have always wondered why team Slayer is part of team arena. Wouldnt it make more sense if there was team objective instead of team arena where only the team slayer playlist contains the actual team slayer gametype. Because when u play Team arena, u do it to play objective (thats how I feel at least) and then first thing coming up is slayer!
What do u think about this? Would it be good if slayer was removed from team Arena?
Totally agree. If I want to play slayer I choose slayer. Shouldn’t be forced to when I want to play CTF, etc.
I think it’s because Team Arena uses the pro settings, maps, and weapons. Kind of like in Halo 3 when you had Team Slayer and MLG. The MLG playlist had slayer and objective.

QFT
This list is not Team Objective - it’s the Tournament settings playlist and Pro events include Slayer in the rotation - it’s that simple.

Which honestly just begs for their to be a Social Objective mode.
But to piggyback Robobeast, Team Arena is about taking the “best” modes and maps and seeing how good you are. It takes a well rounded player, and a coordinated team, to truly excel in this playlist.
I guess that makes sense. But then I feel the slayer playlist isnt really necessary…

some people don’t like objectives
slayer is like the fan favourite of halo. Also slayer is one of the most successful game modes in all of halo. Its also called team arena which contains all sorts of game modes. It uses pro settings from tournaments.
