Halo 5 has been around for awhile now and i dont understand why this is still a thing. I know they’re really pushing for community but when i go 20 and 7 my rank shouldnt drop because someone on my team died all 50 times. Not that it matters now, i come back after more than a month of not playing to see my diamond 3 rank disappeared. I get that they want you to join teams and Spartan companies but i just graduated from college, tryin to start a career. I dont always have the time to keep up with a team. I just wish they would change it so solo players have a better chance. Idk thats just my thought. Maybe we can start a change.org petition lol
It’s mostly about winning and losing.
Winning = Ranking Up
Losing = Ranking Down
So if you have -Yoink- teammates, you’re probably gonna lose and your rank is going to go down. That’s why i play FFA.
Making a petition on change.org won’t do anything.

Petitions are against forum rules mate. I wouldn’t expect it to last to long around here.
just play free for all.
I highly doubt one guy died all 50 times…
I hate when people say to play FFA if you don’t like the ranking system for team based gametypes. FFA doesn’t feel the same, plus spawning works differently when there is more than 2 “teams”.
To see how well you work as a team and with others
I agree basing it off your team winning or losing isn’t perfect, but if you look at the other options they aren’t really great either. You can’t really base it off KDA because it doesn’t really show skill level just how many kills you can get. A onyx with a 0.05 KDA could beat a platinum with a 5.0 KDA anyday. Using what position you are on the leaderboards doesn’t work either. You could queue up with some friend and have them make sure your on top so that you rank up even if you lose. Anyway that’s just my opinion. If you have a idea of a good ranking system id love to hear it.
Because using individual performance promotes selfish gameplay along with “griefing”.
halo is a team game man, it requires teamwork to win. Just slowly start building up your friendslist with likeminded people and it wont seem so bad
