I have been seriously annoyed at this for a long time. Why in Warzone is one person able to stop the capturing of a base. It’s so stupid I mean come on. For example your entire team in Warzone assault code been in the base and then one person stops the capture. It’s worse when you’re trying to do a clutch capture in Warzone assault. Opinions?
shoot them before they get in, its pretty simple
Knowing that one person can make the difference encourages more people to protect their base. If everyone knew that one person couldn’t defend it, they would just let it get captured.
um because it’s contested? what would you have happen? 1 person trying to defend a base and just because someone else is in there they lose it? That’ not fair. Thats my thoughts.

Yes but in Assault most if not all your team is in the base and one person stops the cap. That’s very frustrating especially when you outnumber them like 20 to 1
If your entire team is in the base and a defending player gets into the base without getting melted in seconds you need to find a new team. If you have your entire team inside a base you should be destroying players before they get anywhere near an entrance.

If you outnumber them, then it shouldn’t be hard to track them down in such a small base.
It would be more unfair to allow bases to be captured while contested when defenders still spawn eons away.

You could be in the Spire or Garage.

Both, very small bases, dont tell me you have everything covered with 12 people inside those two aswell as any other base.

I know I said your entire team, but it could be you and four others and you could be about to cap a base in Assault then one enemy ruins that.
You need to clear out the enemy to cap a base. How is a base yours if there are still enemies in it? I think that’s part of the competition. If you outnumber them, it should be pretty easy to do. I think that’s the challenge.

I always try to rush in when it’s getting capped knowing well that I could be the turning point that the team needs. It really is a motivating factor that I approve of, and sometimes it’s fun to try to track down that one player hiding out scared shirtless as his base is swarmed Lol.
It’s not as bad as the defending team spawning vehicles in over and over to keep hold of the fortress. I had a game the other night where we lost because the enemy decided to spawn in about 6 ghosts over the course of the game, it was very aggravating that they abused the mechanics like that.

Just got to kill that enemy quickly. It’s just like King of the Hill. If it’s contested, you get no points.
Yeah but in King of the Hill you could be destroying the enemy team in Warzone Assault you have to capture that base and if you only have 20 seconds left you can’t allow anyone one in. And if one gets in you’ve lost the game. It’s that simple and that frustrating.

The challenge is when you are looking for one guy not 12. It’s like trying to find a needle in a haystack you can’t just go to one place and find them you have find him while the clock is counting down. Which is another problem. Why does the clock count down while you are capturing it’s so dumb. Especially in Warzone Assault.

Completely agree.

Well said.

Are you guys blind?! If 12 guys are trying to capture the base they aren’t focused on finding one guy that’s hiding in the base, theyre fighting off all the other a-s-s holes that are trying to take back control of the base. This isnt really a problem in armories but in the more complex bases it’s kinda of a pain to find that one guy when you know youre team needs help fighting off the enemy team. I know people that hide on purpose waiting for their teammates to re-capture the base its a really cheap tactic in my opinion. It’s almost as cheap as getting the last shot on boss. Warzone has so many problems that need be fixed but instead 343 just gives us some stupid camo’s, armor, and guns we never asked for. These developers really know how to piss people off.
lol if one guy held your team off whole his team mates spawn and rush back in I’m sorry but you got outplayed.
i used to get mad at that one guy hiding at the bottom of that one base (name escapes me) than I realized I was actually mad at my bad teammates for all clouding one entrance etc

Exactly, I don’t get how people can defend this, it’s another example of crap game design from 343.
Why not do it like Battlefield where you can slow down the capture by contesting but you can’t fully stop it unless the number of allied forces in the base are equal to the number of enemies.
