I can never find enough players to play warzone assault and for me it was the funnest of the warzone game modes. So this is a shame.
I dislike assault that is why.
I haven’t played it lately, not because I don’t like it, but because of things like the WZFF daily win pack, and working on commendations for higher level REQs (Phaeton mainly).
I never had trouble finding matches when i played assault. It’s been awhile though.
I think WZ Assault is the best of the WZ gametypes personally. Seeing as it’s the only one where it’s legitimately a 12v12 extension of multiplayer (no enemies), it’s the most challenging and most fun when your team is doing well together.
Every time I try and find a game I cant find a single match, I assumed it was down to the release of Warzone Firefight.
I find PLENTY of matches… what could be going on? I play it a lot.
Ever since the fireteam limit was dropped from 12 to 6 it has honestly sucked. I almost never play it now.
Warzone Assault is, or rather was, my fav game mode but I haven’t been able to get into a single game since WZFF was released. So sad.

Wait the fireteam limit was reduced?! Why?
WZA was my main until I unlocked everything. I’m not a big fan of timer-based game modes, but it did offer a more “team” feeling than the kill thirsty players in regular warzone.
UK player here. After the firefight update i wasn’t able to find any assault matches. It’s one of my most played gametypes too. Switching to expanded search is the only way i can find games in assault now. I just have to put up with the occasionally laggy game.
WZFF has been taking up most of my time. But last weekend, I was teemed with a couple of my spartan company and we had no trouble.

Likely to reduce cases of ‘farming’.
I haven’t touched it since the last update.
Since they removed 12 player fire team, I stopped play assault. This game lost a lot of players. And will continue to lose its population cuz of this change imo
Well i dont play warzone assault often. But i do play it.
Because it was just boring. And hard.
WZA is a mess. All the maps are one-sided (almost unanimously in favor of defenders) and the game is practically over before it begins if you’re not in a pre-made team and the opposing team are. At least standard Warzone has relatively quick REQ progression at the start to give the solo queue players a chance.
It’s really poorly designed and balanced.
