yeah the razorback has more health. The warthog takes 2 skewers to be destroyed while the razorback takes 3 I believe. & I didn’t know the flag stays on the vehicle if the flag carrier dies. That’s a good one
No the flag stays on the razorback ‘rack’ holder thing if the passenger dies, while in a warthog if the flag carrier dies the flag is dropped
Beats me, that thing is awesome. I can finally ride with my friends without being left behind!
That being said though, I would have really preferred either the Spectre or the Prowler returning in Halo Infinite in addition to the Razorback, they’re just more interesting than a standard UNSC troop transport.
Spectre was slower than the warthog… and the prowler was kinda a reverse spectre
My that would be… GLORIOUS!
I think you mean inCOREigable.
Eh whatever you want to call it.
There’s a post under another thread from a new player to Halo. She was having a game of BTB and the rest of her team and the other team, were having a game of slayer, under one of the towers. The comment was, ‘I must have missed the invite’. So she just wandered off, checked out the locked doors, had a drive of a couple of vehicles, then grabbed a wasp and went back down the map, where the game of slayer was in progress and proceeded to turn the other team into cannon fodder.
So i managed to get 3 power cells at once in with a razorback 2 on the back and one guy with one, that’s the most i’ve been able to get in one run so far. it was cool.
The other comments here are pretty good, but I also think it might just be that nearly every game out there doesn’t really have a vehicle quite like the Razorback. When I see it I frequently forget you can jump in the back or store cores on it. Give it time! I love the Razorback but its a vehicle that requires a kind of silent teamwork that only comes after a game’s been around a while.
I suppose it is because we are idiots or because they do not know that they can put seeds behind, maybe they are afraid of the driver hehehe.
At least this time it’s not 343i’s fault.
Honestly, because even the armed vehicles are underpowered and feel like death traps, so most people (myself included) don’t really feel like piling into an unarmed razorback just to give someone a nice Killtacular.
(If there were nice large open BTB maps like Blood Gulch, Avalanche or even Headlong, etc AND if 90% of the sandbox wasn’t extremely good at killing/disabling vehicles, then I’m sure myself and many others would be happy to use a transport hog)
This is my experience with the warthog. You get EMP’d then almost insta-killed. I am now, sort of, reluctant to use one. I have a million things to do in real life and it was a couple of weeks until I had my first BTB. I noticed other players just running past the warthog. I thought, great, I’ll grab one. Then EMP, blasted. Then again, EMP, blasted. I now know why the other team members just left them. Filling up a razorback to be EMP’d, then you and your team members get blasted, is not a pretty picture.
I made a comment another thread - put a h in front

eh i can put blame on 343i for not explaining it
I got emped in the basement of fracture and still got the razorback out with the enemy flag… it’s all about having good passengers, and timing… Thankfully they’ve made it easier to get out of vehicles you get out much faster than other games, which allows you to get out and return fire much quicker.
