Maybe it’s original function is in campaign
3 people with seeds actually. you have 2 seats on the back and the passenger seat.
in campaign it serves as the troop hog able to carry 4 in the back instead of 2.
lol was thinking this last night during a CTF match
Yeah it holds more tiny regular humans in the same slots compared to chungus spartans
i bet it’ll hold four spartans in the back in campaign…
My friends and I got called out for hacking a few times.
Get one or two to split up to piles spawning, distract.
Rest load razor. If you are careful, one or two can ride on top. Snag all cores, deliver for a full power and some towards the next.
On a good run with kill happy team and idiot enemies, game ends in 2 sets of cores practically.
Flying a friend on a wasp for flag carrier drop off/pick up is also a fun one we like to do.
i had a game where i got 3 power seeds in at once using the razorback 2 in the back and one on a guy carrying it, best run i’ve had with a razorback yet, considering i can usually only get 2 at a time.
For CTF the warthog is better. Razorbacks have minimal firepower if you can’t get a full squad. In general having the firepower of a warthog is better than having a bunch of people who’ll struggle to hit anything when your going full speed and maneuvering. However stockpile it would be useful, but if I had the option I’d never play. Outside of stockpile, the Razorback isn’t relevant.
I’m too busy trying to get the challenges done to play the objective.
I’m still wondering why people get into a regular warthog without a gunner just to go from point A to B. Once I crack that case I will help you on this one.
Vehicles feel like they are made out of paper and it has no weapons to fight back with. The only time that I have seen it used efficiently is in Stockpile. Other than that it is out-gunned in basically every way by the plain old Warthog.
I’m seeing people slowly start to use it for stockpile. It’s a new mechanic, just gonna take a while for the community to really make use of it.
I’ve yet to see a Razorback in a game I think. But even then I’d rather do the run-toss-pickup trick than stepping into the paper, floaty death traps that are Infinite’s vehicles.
Feel like this will come as people bed in more but yes it does require more coordination and more people to be familiar with them
I use it anytime it spawns. It’s great if your fireteam actually plays the objective with you, like in Power Seeds. Throw two in the back compartments, and load up with everyone else holding one, then go back and score
I think what doesn’t help is that people see it as a warthog without a turret and don’t realize that it has more health and equipment carrying abilities
however if the passengers die in a razorback the flag will stay on the razorback till it is removed or returned… But in a warthog the flag carrier has the flag so if the flag carrier dies the flag is dropped.
They spawn in fracture always and sometimes in high power they replace the second warthog
it has more health? I didn’t know that
