Is it just me or does it seem like maybe half of the people in any given lobby vote at all? I’ve always wondered why this is. I can’t really fathom why someone wouldn’t. Any thoughts?
Perhaps they don’t care.
i dunno it could be that there are an enormous amount of people afk today in six games in row someone was afk, i swear im starting to think its 343 employees just entering war games to try and get numbers up because i cnt understand why theres so many
for the most part maps in Halo 4 are good. Sometimes I don’t vote because I don’t mind what we play on.
Halo 4’s blandness causes people to not care.

I actually noticed this in both Halo 3 and Reach. Although people it didn’t happen as often in Halo 3. It’ll drive me crazy sometimes because I’ll be in a big team lobby with 16 people and the vote will be like 3 for the option I don’t want and 2 for the option I want, and then no one else will vote at all.
That way they can quit out if they don’t like the map/gametype.

That’s what I would think if they didn’t stay in the lobby until the game starts without voting.

Maybe. It’s what I do for FFA. 8 man FFA on Simplex? No thank you, peace out.
Not sure. I guess some people don’t like playing on the map they want. It’s really annoying when two of the choices are really close, but only 5 people voted.

This is what I do. I refuse to play games on CTF split-screen if the frame rate will put me at a huge disadvantage.
I posted in the polling booth and mine is currently at 90 votes.

I agree. I even try to tell the other players to vote, and what do i get in return, “i don’t care, i just wanna play”. Usually I try to hold the rage in, cuz the maps that they pick are the ones they quit on, especially on BTB. When the good players pick Longbow, everyone goes for Settler.
Votes for Haven or Complex anyway, so there’s no point. I’ve hated Haven since day 1 and complex is a camper’s paradise. So no one votes because their vote doesn’t matter.

Haven is a merry-go-round map
Complex is, of course, a campground
Personally, i don’t understand why players pick that when they know they are gonna quit. Happened to me twice. Two of my team “low-ranking” players picked that, and once the game started, they quit. Explain that to me, b/c i didn’t understand that part, lol
I think it’s down to the despair people feel at ‘everyone choosing the same maps all the time’. In reality what happens is that people don’t vote because they don’t see the point as they believe it won’t make a difference, this allows the minority of people who always pick the same map to do so.
It’s just a side effect of having a community full of whiners
I know I miss the vote a bunch going to the bathroom or to get a drink or whatever between matches. I also miss the vote when I’m looking at commendations, armor, and all that stuff. I’m sure most people that don’t vote aren’t just choosing not to vote. It seems like about 80% of the people in my games vote. Either way it’s not a big deal. Why does it matter?
I don’t vote normally because if you do you can’t back out because people have picked Exile and Complex for the hundredth time.
Because they may be using the Xbox Guide, or in the Spartan Hub. I’m usually checking commendations before a game.
A lot of the time I expect the waiting to be a few minutes or so so some times I’m looking at my load outs or my look. I only realize a match is ready when I hear a “boop boop bop”.
