Why does Neogaf get all the attention?

I’ve not yet been on thee website (Will do soon) but all I hear when it comes to info is ‘Frankie said on Neogaf…’

So I have a few questions…

  1. Why would it be Neogaf to get Halo info before THE HALO WEBSITE?

  2. Why does Frankie not think to post his stuff where his fans are, where Halo is based, where he would get the most attention and people most want to hear what’s being said? AKA, here.

  3. Why does Frankie not post here? Does he have his reasons?

I would also like the answers to these questions.

Neogaf always gets the scoops first.

Don’t question the gaming balance!

Apparently having your own website isn’t convenient.

Well you cannot possibly imagine him pop-in here and start spoiling H4 or even give bits/hints to us here. He might have already been into Neogaf to discuss other stuff ya’know.

They don’t really discuss stuff like spoilers at NeoGaf. I think the main point is that things Frankie says never come here. I recall the announcement that nothing would be showed at the VGAs was at NeoGaf, yet was never said by 343 here.

Pretty bad move.

I guess all we can do is sit back and wait for game info… that drifts in from Neogaf.

In the meantime, don’t worry, be happy!

I think it is a multitude of reasons. Most of his posts on neogaf are shooting down rumors that most of us here aren’t stupid enough to believe. Second, neogaf is a much bigger audience. It would be nice if he posted here too, but he word spreads farther faster on the other side of the fence.

That puts a lot of faith in the fanbase to just know about NeoGaf. Honestly I don’t see why we have to go there just to get confirmation about rumors or whatnot.

Maybe he doesn’t like us.

Yeah, I wouldn’t put it past some of the people here to believe something stupid, like a Halo 4 trailer at the VGAs, and most of the “leaked” things/ and some of the crap that is spewed out of Mr. Crap-spewing-fountain-of-lies.

I’m curious too.

Maybe because Microsoft said so, and not Frank.

> Maybe because Microsoft said so, and not Frank.

So he can confirm where Halo 4 information will NOT be at NeoGaf, and not on the official Halo website run by Microsoft?

That makes no senses.

I think it’s Microsoft’s move, not Frank. I mean, Microsoft does have the last word right? Maybe they think news gets spread quicker on Neogaf and it may appeal to other audiences that aren’t as much as a fan we are.

In other words, they already feel like we’d be on top of info cuz we are obviously fans and so they think less informed bigger audience is the way to go. Just my cents, cuz lets face neogaf is bigger and filled with more than just one type of audience. If you get where I’m going at.

So instead of putting information on a site the majority of Halo fans go to, they put it on a site that not many fans go to? THERE IS NO LOGIC IN THAT WHATSOEVER.

i dont know but back in the dayz He use to post on Bungie.net
