in the multiplayer section of halo cea, why does it take so many bashes to kill someone in the classic anniversary game mode? why did 343 decide to do this? i thought it was always two punches. is there a balancing reason? i guess they wont patch it, but any info on this would help me…thanks
Melees in Halo CE were hardly effective; so no, melees haven’t always been two to kill.
Someone’s mad about having to fire his weapon.

Firing…your weapons? gasps So THAT was what that little trigger thingy was for! What a revolutionary concept! Mind=blown.
lol

Thats the way it is in Halo CE multiplayer (and campaign i think)

no…just those awkward bash battles end up being more comical than helpful
I remember that in Halo 2 it took at least three melees to kill someone. Besides, punches to a spartan can’t be that effective in the first place.
Its how melee should have always been in Halo, it doesn’t matter if the player is a super soldier when he’s fighting other super soldiers and Aliens.
Seriously these high tech suits and alien technology can be thwarted by a single punch amazes me.
