Why does Halo 5 STILL match you against full teams

I, and a large part of the Halo community, am extremely tired of solo queuing and then being matched up against a full team of 4 with other solo queuers in my squad. It’s been over a year since launch, why hasn’t 343 implemented some sort of mechanic where matchmaking only matches you against premade teams if you yourself are in a premade team. They don’t even have to match up perfectly, but a premade team of 3 + 1 random vs premade team of 4 is better than 4 randoms vs whole premade team.

Because matchmaking would take a lot longer and you would have even more repeated match ups.

Then limit that option to focused.

Because they promoted team work with companies.
Designed the game with a competitive mindset.

So you have more full teams of all the best players vs random uncoordinated teams.

The population is not as great as it used to be, as LethalQ said, search times would be much longer. I think limiting it to focused would again, make focused take even longer. For me personally, it takes me a very long time when I tried on Focused, I can’t even imagine how much longer it would take. Best options if you’re frustrated with being matched against teams while solo queuing is to join a team or use your mic. The new Xbox Club system works well for finding people to play Arena with, as well as Halo LFG and Spartan Companies.
