Why does Mk VII Hazop (Halo 4) look so much different from MK V Hazop (Halo: Reach)? I mean at least Mk V Scout and Mk VI Scout have some resemblance
Halo 4 and Halo: Reach were set in seperate times, Halo 4 is in the future. Therefor there are upgrades to armors. Simple as it gets.
I just don’t like the triangular-ish visor. It really doesn’t mesh well…

Same, I reckon It would look so much better upside-down.
i loved hazop in halo reach
but i think this one also does look awesome

Different Ages mean inprovement, good for canon.
It may be a cannon reason
I’m guessing HAZOP gets an upgrade in the mk.VII. Which makes it function better.
That’s just my guess though.

YES! MANDALORIAN FTW!
can i haz Boba Fett?
I like it.
In Halo 4 there will be Spartans IV, not Spartans III like Reach.
There are different technologies.
Also HAZOP means Hazard Ops, so Special Forces. It can be different because it isn’t really an armor system like gugnir (for example).
Gugnir is the same also in Halo 4, so Gugnir IV and III are similar because they’re part of a suit used by snipers (usually).
So for special forces (HAZOP) the armors can change because they aren’t part of a fixed suit.

Gungnir is used with the Spartan Laser system.
So far HAZOP is my fave of the halo 4 perms. Excited to see what the new ODST/Air Assault is, but if it doesn’t live up - then imma be wearing hazop

But also by spec ops snipers in high risk situations.

Lol, Spartan “V”'s? You mean “III”'s.

Yes
Look at all the other helmets so far, they retain the same basic design concept throughout all of MJOLNIRs iterations. Before Hazop, the only helmet whose design was varied a lot was the Scout helmet, and as you can see both the Mk V and Mk VII variations bare some resemblance. look at the default MJOLNIR armor:
See how they share the same basic design?
Doesn’t matter, it looks way better.
I dislike the new helmets.
They don’t have visors.
And the HAZOP visor is still small.
As long as there are helmets with normal visors, I don’t care.
But if all of the visors are wierd like the ones shown so far, I’ll be aggrivated.
