They know we hate it so why did they bring it back? For the casuals and reach kids?!

Just to piss YOU off.

LMAO =

There is barely any Bloom any-more and the little there is only visual.
It does not affect weapons at all.

Because more than the so called “Casuals” like it, and in Reach, it was broken and too much, the bloom in Halo 4 is limited to the DMR and I think the sniper rifle and full auto weapons, and it’s just display, nothing else.

You don’t have a clue, do you?

Have you even watched any gameplay? Go watch some videos, eat your own words and then come back and apologize.

There’s a good boy…

Tell me then why would they add it for display if they don’t need it?!

The weapons are now SO POWERFUL, that the Spartans can’t keep them steady 100% of the time. This is game advancement, our weapons are so much more deadly now!

The DMRs isnt just visual, it is there.

But why they brought it back is beyond me, its just luck and chance.

From what I’ve seen it’s toned way waaaaay down in this game. Probably won’t be that noticeable if at all.

Bloom has been in every Halo game, but in Reach they made it way more than it had to be. It’s in Halo 4 as a better visual than just a steady reticle from previous games.

There’s bloom, but from what I’ve seen, it isn’t nearly as much as Reach. Full auto weapons, DMR, Magnum and Sniper are the only ones with bloom (Sniper could probably be removed from that list).

The bloom is so little on the weapons that it isn’t even noticeable, the only main one would be the Pistol, but even then, it extends circular instead of a square, which is a lot better.

I’m pretty sure you can’t even fire another shot when it’s bloomed. It actually helps me aim

It’s on a whole whopping two weapons, weapons which have bloom free counterparts. Don’t like bloom? Don’t use a weapon that has it.

whats so bad about bloom?

> whats so bad about bloom?

Because it creates a pure luck/chance to get a kill, instead of providing a skill based shot.

What exactly does that mean, anyway?

No idea, I was just explaining why people thought bloom was bad, and that’s the reason that is usually given.

This. Before skill could trump “luck” any day of the week with definite aiming, Reach changed that formula up changing the game dynamic drastically. Which of course, angered a lot of people, which is understandable. I wasn’t too happy about it either, and I was a bad player, so imagine how those who are actually good felt.
