I’m not defending 343’s practices and decision making as a company (there were much better ways to handle the last 4 years), but you’re comparing Apples to Oranges if you think unpaid dedicated fans spending nearly a decade on a single game by itself, is in any way equivalent to the small offshoot of 343 having the herculean task of porting and fixing 10 different engines in the span of 3 years.
The guy lacks the ability to comprehensively read anything you say. If its not super simple and described to where a toddler could understand he wont get it or will get defensive, your post was probably too long for him to read.
Yeah I always wanted to play more Halo 2, but its not that common in MCC matchmaking but hopefully once it arrives in the Custom Games Browser I will get the opportunity to play it.
My guess would be that it’s like harder to code stuff for halo 2 or something. I know Halo 2’s code was a mess when it first came out. Maybe adding a weapon skin would cause the whole thing to break down or something. IDK though. Maybe they are just saving classic Halo 2 stuff for some event or something.
