Some people like Gladiator helmets… I mean, is there any other gladiator helmet in the game? No. Alright.
Also, I am a completionist. It annoys me if there is one thing you haven’t got. I probably wont wear it if I do, because in my opinion there are better helmets out there. I quite like Fred’s helmet. If I get it, I get it properly, and not through farming, but through playing the game how it is supposed to be played.
Have you seen the movie Troy! Brad Pitt (Achilles) blains everyone in sight. That’s obviously the reason why people want the armor so bad.

Yeah people just use it due to it being hard to obtain. That’s basically it. Tho some people love the look of it.

To me the Achilles Armor is like the Recon Armor From Halo 3 I remember when Halo 3 ODST came out the only way to get the Recon is to complete all the Vidmaster Challenge man that was really hard to do I don’t ever want to do those challenge ever again please don’t ask me to help you with the Vidmaster because I’m not going to help you.
People have opinions, I love how a literal Spartan Helmet is the reward for finding a company, which most wont do, I talking about you Emblem people. Then completing the company Tasks. Which takes months, weeks, or a year if your like me. Its a fun nod to history and Halo Lore, most greek myths are retold in Halo Lore. Its fun, I personally like the armor, helmet not so much.

Honestly I love the helmet, and my company is half way to the helmet with no farming involved. Though I wish they put a little more thought into the armor…just kinda feels eh…chest plate and shoulders are good but the rest bothers me.
Because the helmet looks great. Take a look at my armour.
When I see someone wearing Achilles armor, I usually think to myself:
“Oh my God, why is there a sweaty kill farmer in my game? ugh”

“Oh my God, they have Achilles! He must be amazing!”

Yeah you are right it was finally great to get Recon in Halo 3.
