This is clearly the best game to come out this year no matter what Tiny flaws you think it might have. Everyone seems to be hating on the story when it isn’t that bad. I am on the 10th mission so far and am not disappointed. Ya it’s not unbelievable like in halo 3, but the missions are great. Though the storyline does seem a little off.
The online though. Oh my god. ITS AMAZING I haven’t even played war zone yet ( want to get good first ) and I already love it. Everything they added turned out to make the game better. Ya the time to kill seems a bit lower, but a good player will still ALWAYS get the worse player. With all the mobility I could jump up thrust behind them, and hit them in the back. All in all I think the more people play the more they will like it
We don’t all hate it, it’s just the select few who have an opinion that they need to hear from other people that it’s correct. A lot of us on this forum and in the actual game will tell you that it’s very fun! You just gotta look hard enough
No split-screen, awful story (Seriously this is the worst Halo story in a game yet)
BUT…
That being said, I don’t feel like Multiplayer should be criticized too much because I feel like a good majority of the issues with MP will be fixed sometime down the road, just gotta have patience.
I like the part where you acted like thrusting over someone to turn around to beat them down works.
Still a better love story than twilight.
IGN 10/10
I firmly believe that there’s a hipster thing going on with games now a days. It’s not just a Halo thing either. People really think they are being hip by hating on games just to hate happens to CoD, Destiny, Battlefield etc.
I’m not sure yet. I’m wondering what the fans who like the game have in common with each other versus the fans who dislike the game. Even journalists who I find myself agreeing with normal are polarized on Halo 5. I’m not sure what it is.

I just think they’re trying to get into the salty spatoon, but they’re a bunch of weenie’s that hang out at weenie-but juniors

Your right. The Destiny forums make this place look civil.
But I was watching Angry Joe’s live stream yesterday and he was on the Halo Hate train too. Complaining about the lack of split-screen, the micro transactions (even though he did zero research on them), complaining that he burned through the campaign in 4 hours on Normal, etc etc. Comparing it to call of duty, not realizing you don’t need to ADS to accurately kill people.
It was disheartening, I just wanted to take him aside and spend the 10 minutes to teach him everything there is to know in how warzone and the new abilities and how to play without the trouble he was having and complaining the whole time.
The chat was full of PS fanboys and just hating the game because Joe was hating it.
It was disheartening. Joe usually keeps himself informed and does informed decisions, but he was hating on things that were really not issues. It really makes it seems he was hating because that what everyone else was doing
because that’s the way it’s been since Halo Reach. Maybe even since halo 2.

Its the millennials… they must be handed everything on a platter and if not, its crap. The sense of entitlement is astonishing. Glad I’ll be retired when those folks start to run our country.

Very true. The Bungie.net forums… the memories. The horrible memories

That’s what surprised me Joe is actually one of the most informed gamers I’ve seen around. People will begin to hate things quickly when someone famous hates something. I don’t have a problem with the Microtransactions seeing is how they are serving a purpose I was glad to hear that map packs will be free due to the microtransactions.

People are just dumb I guess.
And These Forums can get very salty, but the Destiny forums are just downright toxic.
People seem to have wanted everything possible in the game to be satisfied. Now, that doesn’t mean there weren’t missteps and oversights made. The story was overwhelming and I think poorly done for the majority of Halo fans. I’ve read/watched some of the EU stuff and was still struggling a little bit understanding what was going on. Story aside, the gameplay is fantastic and some of the best we have had in a Halo game. Warzone will keep it fresh. New maps will be free so the community isn’t fragmented. Multiplayer definitely shines through.
It feels like these haters are being paid off
with call of duty, you could get trolled for asking too much
I don’t hate the game! I’m enjoying every aspect of it!
I don’t hate this game in the slightest. I’ve really enjoyed the limited time I’ve spent in the Haloverse.
I think those who have complaints are far more vocal than the majority (?) Who like the game.
I don’t hate the game, I actually would match it up vs halo 3 (multiplayer wise) as the best one. However that campaign cringes probably just as bad as ODST IMO. I was very surprised about campaign but meh, I don’t know if I’ll remember it as well as the others. The multiplayer is very good, I love it. The competitiveness seems back as it was lacking in h4 IMO. Breakout is all I’ve played and warzone I’m still getting the hang of it but I somewhat dislike BTB gametypes and prefer 4v4s.
