I love it too, I made a whole review video about it and tips. A lot of people that I know hates it, and saying 343i is lazy and just gave us a reskin.

It’s because it is a low level REQ. It isn’t going to be as effective as it was in the earlier rounds.
In order to have an effective wasp pilot in round 5, you need to have other players with heavier ordinances on the ground or air. The wasp pilot should be the one picking off minor targets or being a support role.

It’s no problem lol. But many people I play with love it and always like receiving them in silver and gold packs. I guess your people hate it more than mine lol.

exactly, be a nuisance keep shields down, be a distraction, it’s not meant to be a beast, its LEVEL 3
Its a low level REQ, of course its kinda weak. People act as if they expected it to be a flying tank.

Nope. I LOVE the Wasp.
I wish it was Rare/Ultra Rare/Legendary though… More armor and more damage… Would a lot better.
I love how fast and whippy, easy to fly and fun to fly the Wasp is. Beloved thing when it comes to flying.
But uh.
Yeah it’s… It’s pretty useless in a fight. Its guns need to be able to fire for longer periods of time, and just… Maybe a little more damage added to them, plus wider rocket AOE. That’s what it’d take to make it perfect. It’s not fair that a fast vehicle that can be killed by small arms fire and a single rocket has to focus on a Spartan (from a safe range) for about five seconds, when an Assault Rifle does the same job faster.
The only problem is its lack of quick evasive manoeuvres, phaeton can “teleport”, and banshee can do the aerobic tricks, but with the wasp you need to be ridiculously good with the VTOL abilities, but in open spaces you’re screwed
I don’t hate it, but every single time I’ve used it, I’ve died almost instantly. I’m assuming that’s why others are hating it.
Can’t say I’ve seen too much hate, especially by waypoint standards. Personally I love the wasp. I think it’s a fun vehicle perfectly suited for it’s req cost and rarity.

I like that there’s no evade maneuver. If you use cover correctly it can be a real beast both as a support vehicle and a killing machine.
I love the wasp
Anyone who says it’s too weak is using it wrong. The Wasp is meant for enemy suppression and team support. Not for air-to-air or direct air-to-ground combat. Also, don’t use it Warzone Firefight. AI are too stupidly overpowered and bullet-spongey that it isn’t worth using. Anyway, I like it quite a bit. Not sure where you’re seeing any hate.
