Then you can do your own homework if you don’t follow HCS or know well-known names in competitive Halo. I found plenty of videos proving what I said by some of these people. Which is why it’s ill-advised to jump while you’re in a gunbattle like in previous Halo games.
But you’re probably the kind that we tell that you now have all the information in your pocket, yet, refuse to educate yourself and STILL would rather other people do the work for you.
It’s not only things like this, theirs other things like the changes to nades physics and making the sniper harder to uses with the reticle bloom between shots as well. It’s decisions like this that make me feel like the team behind this halo weren’t guided in the ways halo games usually feel. You shouldn’t have to resort to holding players back to balance the game I can understand balancing has to come from somewhere just not in the artificial restriction of the player. Personally in the past I don’t remember the balancing to ever feel as transparently limiting and intrusive to the experience either
What does knowing “well known names” in Halo eSports have to do with anything Halo? Halo HCS is boring. I watched a few, and it’s just boring watch all these pros exploit aim assist.
I did my “own homework” and listened to all the rollers on here claiming aim assist doesn’t work when doing this, doing that, blah blah blah. Proved that everything was false and aim assist did indeed work no mater if jumping or shields popped, all claims and myths.
I’m the opposite. Do my own homework? You mean find a “content creator” who makes a video and claims false info without showing any of it in practice? I do my own homework by trying to recreated these claims, which means I DO THE WORK for myself and for the naïve ones who can’t and rather just “hear” someone else say what they want to hear. I proved all these claims are false.
I got out of Halo after Halo 3, 4 and 5 were horrible to me and my point exactly, you’re just being naïve. You can listen to whoever you want, doesn’t mater to me.
Take all these “Halo pro” people you’d rather listen to. Let’s go in front of a judge and take their “claims” against my proof and see who get’s in favor of the judge. The judge will ask all these “Halo pros” where their proof is, where is it? Because they’re a “pro”? Judge won’t accept that
So I have noticed previously aim assist feeling like it just stops working, but not during jumping etc just in general sometimes, which is what I have seen reported a lot, even by pros. I almost exclusively jump over crouching during firefights and I don’t have an issue with aiming so don’t think it’s that.
While unconfirmed it is my theory that this is an intentional design to try and “even” the playing field for controller vs MKB. Which if this is actually the case then it is by far the stupidest design decision I’ve ever seen.
Loss/change in aim assist isn’t just confined to shields though. You also lose aim assist:
When jumping
Different FOV’s aim assist will verry
After a melee (even if you still have full shields)
Aim assist is weaker when firing your weapon while moving.
Basically if you want aim assist to function how it should overall then you have to stand completely still and not move at all.
Bro as I’ve said before in your videos the target you are aiming at is not moving at full speed. So your video proves nothing.
Obviously something is going on with aim assist because hundreds if not thousands of people have pointed out an issue via the forums, twitter, and reddit. Maybe it’s an intentional design decision or maybe its related to desync. Maybe its just a bug that affects some but not all. I have no idea. But what I do know for a fact is I lose aim assist. I can feel it immediately.
Please explain what exactly it is you mean by this claim. Am I only moving at half speed? quarter speed? Either way, really have no idea what you’re talking about as I’m moving as fast as the game lets me.
If it makes you feel better then keep telling yourself that.
Nothing, but it’s more along the lines of people need to stop being so naïve. “I heard it from a ‘well known’ Halo player”. Hearing something and seeing something are two different things.
I bring up snipedown because he’s telling you how it is, no BS.
It’s only an argument when people can’t accept facts. I proved all these “claims” and “sayings” are total BS yet people still want to say “nah bro, I heard it’s a thing”.
Yeah, I’ve already provided that. Resort back to the second paragraph, my point exactly.
You brought him up because you had no tangible proof whatsoever.
Seriously, just because he’s a pro doesn’t mean he knows what’s best for the game.
I mean he’s living in a different dimension when it comes to the general Halo population. The only thing you have are your videos and if that aim assist video you made is anything to go on, it’s pretty much safe to say you have no ground to stand on.
What else do you need? My videos demonstrate exactly what people are claiming and turns out these claims are BS. What else do you need? You need someone else to make a video showing the complete opposite of mine? Guess what? That’s not going to happen. You know why? Because in my videos I’m showing the same exact game and outcome that everybody else is and will experience. My videos are more of a solid ground than coming from someone “I heard this”.
Like I said…
It’s only an argument when people can’t accept facts.
Who’s they? Snipedown is the only one who isn’t scared of calling out the BS, which he has done a few times. Frosty got a taste of KBM and says “yeah it’s a lot harder and some gun just don’t work like they do on controller, especially the Commando”.
I don’t believe Lucid has made any comments about the inputs. Just about all Streams have made plenty of comments.
Then move on. You’re obviously one to take things personal which makes you blind to facts. I only remember your clips, not other “people”.
I’m not making “claims” and talking BS. I don’t expect people to believe such things, but I’ve made evidence that’s clear and proves the claims and BS to be false. Want to prove me wrong? Then prove me wrong but none of this “I heard this and that” BS, because at the end of the day it is just BS.
