Okay, i think it is well documented on these forums about the unfairness with which UK (and others) are being treated by 343i. I refer of course to the double xp thing with Mountain Dew and Doritos which gave Americans a leg up on the way to unlocking extra perks.
And also now the unlocking of all specializations that does not apply to UK players. Again this means that everyone is able to access all the perks related to specializations before us with no date when access will be made available.
This is not a level playing field, and it is a disgraceful way to treat their fans. The latest example of their thoughtlessness is that the UK is not eligible for the Infinity challenge.
Not only do they suspend new Spartan Ops missions until after this competition but now i find that he thing that is supposed to be replacing it is not available to me. Why let me even sign up?
Now any ONE of these things is enough to annoy people but the fact that there have been three instances now where we have been shafted and then ignored on the forums points to a major customer service issue with 343i. Why does Halo deserve my loyalty when i am treated like a second class citizen at every turn.
I would really appreciate a response from someone in authority from 343i, but i know i won’t get it.
I may be wrong but all it would take is someone from 343i to reply to this thread and tell me otherwise and i would be happy. While they’re at it maybe thay could tell us when the specializations will be unlocked for us as well.

Official site does not state taht UK is not included;
It clearly says

Fair enough, i’m not unreasonable. Still doesn’t help with the specializations issue though does it? Also the fact that the page i linked to is on 343i’s own forum with incorrect information has been there for 5 days without anyone who works there saying “incorrect” is testament to the fact that there is a customer service issue. Fans are not being responded to and it’s unacceptable.
Indeed I would concur, its an obvious he said/she said with only the fact that the official site doesnt make mention of it. I would hedge my bets on the official site.
Same here, i’ve just noticed as well hat the infinity challenge is being advertised on my dashboard. Since it’s region specific i would assume that means UK is eligible. Still not holding my breath for an official response though!
Would suck if the challenge is not for the UK as it keeps appearing on my Dashboard and got an email saying that it has registered currently with location being the UK.
If the challenge is available in the UK then I shall be content.

I live in the UK, I own every Halo novel, the Halo encyclopedia, The Halo 3, Reach legendary editions and the Halo 4 LE. I have been a die hard fan for along time and what do we UK players get? Its a well known fact that 343i and Microsoft are not sexist. They do however like to discriminate against people outside of the USA - racist if you like.
Worth keeping in mind is that this form of discrimination is based more on money then ethnic discrimination - basically whats the easiest way to make a quick buck - the locals are an easy target, the rest of the world not so much.
Its worth keeping in mind that they also like to screw with their home crowd as well so its not totally an ‘anti-rest of the world’ attitude (note the recent specialization offer and failure to deliver).
edit: actually considering the state of the game they unleashed on us along with an update claiming to fix some issues but then proven not to along with a complete lack of communication and thread locking I think its safe to assume they treat all their customers with contempt.

Don’t expect 343i to respond to anything you post on these forums (their own website).
Very rarely, and I mean rarely, BSangel may respond to an wide spread community issue but that is it.
This place exists purely for the discussion amongst community members and sadly not customer response.
