I played the new map on arena and while its not a bad map actually i can be good i just feel it has too many power weapons. That is my main problem with overgrowth i feel it has to many power weapons.
TDM is a mess and FFA is just on another level of WTF. IDK if its just me but i feel some maps have way too many power weapons.
Well sometimes its doesn’t show and it can be an advantage because you can get it why the other people on the other team might not know.

the only problem is when they have powerfull tear 2 weapons like railguns or scattershots allong with two power weapons which means that if you have both weapons you are unstoppable

Only if you face them head on. I’ve flattened more than my fair share of power-weapon horders with my Spartan’s 1000-pound body.
Only seems to be a problem with Overgrowth and Riptide. And specifically as it relates to Riptide, I think it’s less about the quantity of power weapons (the Beam Rifle and Hydra have relatively minimal impacts on the games I’ve played because of the map design) and more about the frequency of the FRG spawns. Feels like there is always one on the map.

Fuel Rod Cannon!! Most annoying power weapon in the game… I’ve seen teams on Riptide get two at once and those things do NOT have shallow ammo reserves!

happens every game thats why it needs less ammo.
Yeah, less ammo, much less. I had a game awhile back when riptide first came out and the other team controlled the fuel rod every time and ended the game with like 34 power weapon kills between the 4 players, the amount of ammo and frequent respawn meant that one team had two fuel rods and with beam and blue room control it was just a slaughter. I just don’t think it should be possible to have more than half the kills of a game to be power weapon kills. It doesn’t shake out like this very often but just the fact that its a possibility to have nearly 40 power weapon kills in a game to 50 is crazy. Too many power weapons on such a small map.

Because two power weapons makes it harder for one team to control the map because they have to control both weapons. Only a really good team can do that, and if so, they deserve to win.

Strongholds on Overgrowth used to have a shotgun just above Tram. -Yoink!- at 343 replaced it with a Carbine last update.
