Seriously, why does 343 love dangling that carrot in front of us and then yanking it away? How hard is it for them to make permanent playlists and game modes? Whoever it is that approves these decisions needs to be fired along with the person making the suggestions.
It’s probably so people don’t spread too thin across all playlists making matchmaking slower. Or they don’t want fiesta to just become a comm farm fest. Or they want people to focus on grifball and assault more right at first.

Who cares about commendations? its not like they reward us in any way. You can’t even see them without digging layers into the menus. In Old Halos that was never a problem, yet in this one it is? No.

So you’re completely ignoring the SC comms for Achilles which so many people seem to think hurt warzone?
Also comms are there to help promote continued play. I know I enjoy working on them and they keep me coming back. If you can sit and farm fiesta for a couple weeks and knock out all the comms for power weapons then that kills a certain amount of incentive to keep playing for some people.

343 never said fiesta was going to be a playlist, although I thought it was implied… I dont mind I’m not a fan of fiesta, I was more upset Oddball isn’t in matchmaking…

SC commendations? how can commendations break a game mode? Are you talking about Commendation Req packs? no, those don’t break anything, specially considering how miserably slow reqs are to earn in this game.

Of course it was implied! It was right there next to Griff & Assault on their promotional poster. The way they’ve handled the playlists and game modes for H5 has been horrendous.

Ugh. How do I explain this?
Spartan Companies have their own set of commendations that reward Achilles sets at certain milestones for certain types of kills. (Of every variety) Put Fiesta in matchmaking full time, and suddenly a good deal of these are stupidly easy to do. All they would have to do is farm it until they’ve gotten everything they needed.
Level 3 of commendations awards the armor, level 5 awards the helmet.
Seriously, either do research before making such erroneous arguments which show a lack of understanding, or connect the dots.

They never said “Fiesta will be a playlist on its own”, they said we are adding the gametype. I’m disappointed its not its own playlist but I’m not going to create a forum thread saying I’m annoyed that my assumption wasn’t right.
I just wish we could have a social that rotated different things. Because anything because not fun anymore when you do it enough times in a row. One night of assault and I’m already ready for next week.

Spartan company commendations. Did you completely miss Infinity’s armory? Or the 100s of threads about farming?
