Why do your allies never say "Behind you!"?

Getting shot in the back accounts for about 60-70% of deaths, and in Warzone that happens a lot. Why is it that you don’t hear other Spartans say stuff like “Watch your back!” when you’re being shot from behind? Granted, it’s usually too late to do anything, but sometimes it makes a difference.

Overwatch does it, so why doesn’t Halo?

If it’s a case of “silenced weapons would be useless”, then make it so it doesn’t trigger VS silenced weaponry.

Probably because it would be redundant hearing it since there’s already a few indicators that let you know that you’re getting shot in the back. It would also open the flood gates for why don’t they mention other things like getting shot from the side or from above/below.

Just like how redundant it is to hear someone say “Watch that sword” when you can see an enemy got a recent kill with said sword?

Well, there’s a lot of spartan chatter which isn’t really needed. I think the difference between your suggestion and things like that are they aren’t as frequent. You’re not going to encounter a sword or grenade as nearly as often as being shot at.

This is the first time I have seen this complaint. Maybe if you listened your surroundings you would hear them shooting you.
