This is a serious question. Most of the people on this site say halo 4 “is the best game ever!”, when none of you have even played it. Just look at all of the the changes 343 has made to the halo series just in halo 4:
There will no longer be fire fight.
People wont be able to play as Elites.
You can request weapons after getting a certain amount of kills.
There are new armor abilities that really suck.
343 has obviously made a lot more changes than the ones listed above, but listing all of them would just get tiering after a while. Most of the changes 343 has made are turning halo into COD, and this a bad thing. My point is, halo 4 wont be very amazing, and saying it will be is completely limited. So to restate the title, Why do you people think halo 4 will be good?
Because a lot of the people in this community have blind hope and hardcore fanboyism. They think it will be amazing just because it has the halo tag attached to it but dont think about how all this new garbage will effect multiplayer.

1Yes but spartan ops will be replacing it, which looks to be much better than firefight.
2 I’ll admit this sucks
3Its not just kills its assists distractions etc.
4 Pv has been nerfed, and we’ve yet to see any footage of camo regeneration or jetpack.
But to answer your question I’m excited for single player and the Chief and Cortana’s return.
Spartan Ops looks very promising.
Because -Yoinking!- and moaning and being a cynic about everything is a really -Yoink- way to go through life and I’d rather have some optimism.
Oh, and maybe some people like the additions, Or they’re buying it for the campaign?

I’m sure most people prefer Spartan Ops, Firefight is just mindless killing and trying to stay alive as long as possible imo. Spartan Ops has objectives and is different from each mission, Firefight was the exact same thing to me everytime.
True it’s upsetting but aren’t all the friendly Elites on Sangheilios fighting the Servants of Abiding Truth?

PV: A secondary Motion tracker to me
Hardlight Shield: A life saver but your still vunerable from rockets, possibly a Spartan Laser blast, grenades, exposed from 3 out of 4 sides, etc.
Active Camo: Stealth.
And so on.
I know I will greatly enjoy Halo 4, just like I have with every Halo game.
See, I grew up playing the NES and SNES, so I know what a good game is. Its because I appreciate games more than most of you kids who grew up with Xbox360’s.

I like the way you think, so i am going to tell you a secret. There is a site called bungie.net, and it has a lot of people like me and you. There isn’t any “halo 4 is so amazing” BS, and the people there are pretty cool.

Anyways, I can’t speak for everyone here, but I have never said Halo 4 is going to be amazing, because I’m not a time traveler nor a psychic. Though I hope it will be! But personally I like what I see. I will buy the game and if it’s amazing, YAY if it Yoinks! then I’ll return it. simple… (though I don’t foresee that happening)
I believe that game will be good because im not one to jump to conclusions and say it will suck before ever actually playing it for myself. None of the changes look game breaking or terrible so im optimistic that ill enjoy the final product since ive enjoyed every main Halo game so far.

I can live without Firefight. Loved ODST Firefight, didn’t really like Reach Firefight. Spartan Ops is replacing it too, which will be very fun.
Yeah, that does kind of suck. However, I never really played as Elites much. I have enough fun playing as a Spartan.
What’s wrong with that? Ordnance sounds and looks like a great addition to the game.
Thruster Pack and Promethean Vision interest me. I am sure I will love them. However, Hardlight Shield seems kind of annoying. Better than armor lock though, as Hardlight Shield will only keep you safe from being hit on one direction, and it won’t be able to save it’s users from getting stuck by plasmas. Halo 4 is not out yet, we’ll just have to wait and see if the armor abilities are good or not. Before Reach came out, everyone wanted to use armor lock. But it turned out to be pretty crappy imo.
