I don’t know if this is the right place to write about this question.
But what is the thing you love the most about Halo ?
I love Halo for the story, yeah, I like multiplayer aswell, but the Halo universe is AMAZING. That is why I really would like to see this fantastic and huge universe being useful in Halo 6, and not just see
Cortana being the bad guy nowI’d like to know, what does the Community prefer? Maybe both? Campaign? Multiplayer? Any other experiences?
I came to Halo for one of the most unified and fully realized science fiction multimedia stories around. I stayed for the sound design, visual style, and general sense of hard work and love you felt put in the game.
Rather ironically, the one thing I didn’t like about Halo was actually playing it. It was immersion-breaking how slow and not-supersoldier-y John was after reading all about his physical feats in the books, and all the weapons save maybe the shotgun and pistol in CE and the energy sword after that felt criminally under powered. Halo 5 is the first one I actually felt like I was a Spartan, and hope 343 continues down that trend (although the weapons still suck).

> Oh my, where to start. This is going to sound sad but Halo is literally my favourite form of entertainment. I don’t watch TV, it bores me… So for me it’s all about Halo.

> It all started when I got into Halo 1 (as soon as it was released). I got sucked into the lore immediately, which is odd as I’m not typically a scifi nut. I purchased XBL and played countless hours of H2 online and had many a brilliant experience on Blood Gulch. H3 was the pinnacle for me. The multiplayer and campaign were sublime and I’m sad to say that I think halo reached its peak with H3.

Me too LoL! If I’m not reading a Halo novel, I’m playing Halo or just listen to the soundtrack
I love the story of Halo. No other video game has lore that goes as deep as Halo’s. You could sit reading for hours and hours and still not know everything about the lore, it’s incredible. Combine that with the books and boom, you’ve got probably months of content to learn about the Halo universe.
The music.
The multiplayer.
The bs that goes down in custom games with friends.

With Halo 5 the only thing I like is Warzone, Breakout, slayer and swat. And the music. But most of my friends moved off shortly after Halo 5 launched due to lack of modes and the RNG system. And the story is the worst I’ve played since H2.
