S2 will be the first pass that allows you to earn cR at all, so you’ll have to buy that one with real currency at the bare minimum. But apart from that I don’t think there’s much of a problem here.
You’ll be able to take all the time you need to grind to 100 in the S2 pass which will then allow you to get the S3 and presumably so on from there.
I’m currently on level 41 of the pass and I’m trying to get the Jorge set of armor.

Yeah I’ve been working to the chest piece at 89 since day one. I’ve just had too many things on my plate to be able to dedicate so much time on my days off to try and grind out tiers.
People have said just play a few games every day, but that doesn’t work for me. I get up at 4:30am to get ready for work and don’t come home until after 5pm. I take a shower, have dinner and usually have an hour left before I need to go to sleep. I can’t spend that hour playing something like Halo and then try to go to sleep right after. Most days I’m exhausted after work so I’m not even up to playing anything anyway.
343i said they’re working on the challenges for season 2 so let’s hope they stop making playlist specific challenges and make more generalized challenges so we can just play mostly what we want and progress at a good pace.
If you pop a double XP before you play your first games every week then you’ll max out the pass in no time. 6 games is one level, and you can often clear about half your weeklies in that time if you’re strategic about it.
Make sure to complete challenges, you get a lot more exp from completing those challenges vs not completing them - can see the difference in my various friends who play.
If you have a cell phone and live in a supported region, start using microsoft rewards through bing searches. You can get up to 180ish per year in the USA last I knew by just doing basic bing searches on pc, mobile phone and doing daily set (combined takes less than 5 minutes). Use those to buy whatever off microsoft store or some limited giftcards at other places like walmart, including infinite’s premium passes. I’ve used microsoft rewards to pay for the Series X, multiple new controllers, headset, various games, other various things and ultimate game pass over the years - been doing it since it was originally bing rewards.

So the way they explained it if you have purchased a previous battle pass you’ll be able to continue progressing it whenever you want, but if you’re running off of the free version then it stops when the season ends.
I finally just finished level 99 of the battle pass. I haven’t completed it and I’m probably won’t because nothing in the final tier is worth me grinding more of this game today or for the rest of the week while it’s up because I have to work over the weekend and Monday and Tuesday. At which point season 2 comes out Tuesday anyway, so once I get home I’m just going to check that out.
The worst thing was I was mainly trying to finish all of the challenges this week to get the nice black visor, but upon seeing that the final capstone challenge was getting three perfect kills from a precision weapon that’s kinetic which means the commando, the BR and the sidekick. I am not a precision weapon guy and never will be so that immediately pissed me off. 343 really needs to make it to where we can see what the weekly ultimate challenge is for the item before we grind out however many freaking challenges that is to find out oh you’re not getting that especially not when you only have three more hours that you could possibly play.

Is this just a troll post? Because you cannot be serious. You should see all the people complaining that they have nothing to do because they finshed the pass months ago.
Also, check out the S2 battle pass on showcased on the stream this week, or the quick recap on Kevinkoolx YouTube channel. You don’t need lvl 100 to get all the coins

Just saying because there is going to be a heap of whingers flooding the forums next week saying that they didn’t have enough time (and likely the same ones who are complaining in other threads that 6 month seasons are a travesty).
I really haven’t had enough time and also stop talking down to people like they’re all children.
The only people who won’t be able to finish the pass now is the free players.
Just fyi the wording for that challenge is a bit misleading, you can use the stalker and the shock rifle for that too, both of which I find much easier to get perfects with (the shock rifle especially if you can get 3 headshots)
yeah i know. i tried doing it with the shock rifle, but i’m just terrible with precision weapons so i only got 1 in the 3-4 hours i tried to get it. and now i don’t have time to finish the challenge be cause of my work schedule.
