A person like me who doesn’t have the money to buy battle passes can buy a pass when it ends, and I know what your thinking “This guy should just complete the pass” BUT, I can 't play halo all of the time so I can’t complete a pass. Because my parents don’t let me play for a long time and only on the weekends.
If I remember correctly, the pass doesn’t expire
Didn’t they say that?
Battlepass doesn’t expire, the creds won’t run away.
343 said that you have to get to 100 on the pass to be able to afford the next
Pass_________I had to add underscores to reply
I’m guessing… You’ll get a 1000 credits throughout the pass… probably in 200s so if you like you can buy stuff from the store or save up the 1000 and buy the next available battle pass.
Bargain with your parents then.
Or just sneak and play.
Yes but you have all the time in the world to do that. The pass doesn’t go away when the new season starts. You will be able to finish it and then still buy the second one. Which will also not expire. You can have as long as you want to work on them.
It seems like a lot but it makes sense to me. You finish the first one and then you have the credits to get the next one to work on.
My guy, I only played one day a week on my day off work, for about 5 hours to complete every single weekly for the beta and December, and I finished the pass. I only play one day a month for Tenrai, or two days a month for months like Cyber Showdown. You have unlimited time to do the Battle Pass, and you can easily (usually easily) finish the weekly each weekend if you try, as long as you get about 5 or 6 hours total to play.
As for not being able to afford the Battle Pass, idk what country you’re in, or your dollar value, but it’s $10 USD iirc. If you can’t save $10 in a whole 3 months, idk what to tell you. I spend over $40 a week in gas. You could earn money from chores or something for a couple bucks, and that would probably get your parents to let you play more if you did chores. Just a pro tip.
Alternatively, people swear by Bing Microsoft Rewards Points. They just set Bing as their browser and earn free points for searching stuff, then buy things on Xbox for free with the points.
I’m in the United States
as an adult i only have a few hours to play halo each week because of work. i’m still not done with the first pass. i understand your concern, but i don’t think it’s just 1000cr at the final tier. it’s probably more like 100 every 10 levels and the pass never expires so you can keep working on one pass until it’s done and buy the next one you want. honestly it might not be bad that you can’t finish a pass before the next one. you’ll be able to see all the content in one and select the one that interests you more.
ok thank you for the advice
Do 1 hour of chores, game for 6 hours?
Sounds like a great deal
Wish I could work for only 1 hour a day instead of 10+
Complaining about 10 minutes of chores is a real first world problem if I ever heard of one
thanks i will think about that in the future
Ill think about that before I ever complain again
Good parents.
I’ll also eco what mhx_air said. sign up for Microsoft rewards. You can earn free $10 every month - month and a half.
I didn’t know that thank you
I’ll try that right now
There is a rewards app on the Xbox too that you can use to earn extra points for playing certain games or earning achievements. Depends what the weekly/monthly tasks are.
Ok thank you for the advice
