Whyyyyyyyyyy. It is always so ridiculous. Today was by far the most messed up. I woke up and signed-on in the afternoon. When I was connecting to my first game it disconnected me from xboxlive for no reason. When I signed back in and tried to play again it said I was banned temporarily because I recently quit too many matchmaking games. I don’t make a habit of quitting, I think I quit like 5 games yesterday because my credit cap was met and I play more than 100 a day.
I am constantly being banned from making more credits, after I already met the credit cap for the day. This wouldn’t be a problem if it didn’t carry on to the next day, which to me is a completely dead day. These bannings have only happened to me in the recent couple of months. After the credit banning I began playing arena for a lack of anything productive to do, I just reached bronze in it day. I am playing the game correctly. I get credits too fast because at my rank it gives 3000 points even if I don’t kill anyone.

Here is your answer. You’re banned for quitting, it has nothing to do with the credit cap. By quitting, you ruin the game for others who remain playing, and you should be penalized.
EDIT: Wait, what? you also exceed the credit limit? It’s not to surprising that you get banned ;_;.
Seriously? And I don’t normally just quit games. When they put credit limits on my account there isn’t much left to play the matches for, so if I feel the game isn’t fun I leave. Believe it or not, I’m never the first person quitting the match. Last time I quit it was a big team battle game and half of my team already had quit 2 minutes in, so there was no point to finish the match without credits as a reward. I think someone someone changed something about this whole system because this is crap. First game in 12 hours and I get disconnected so they ban me temporarily. This is after the credit limits being a pain and my gold membership is running out in 4 days. My last 4 days is this crappy, my last two months have been all warnings.

I did not quit. I was disconnected by xboxlive as the match was setting up and when I logged in again said I was banned from matchmaking all together for it. That stupid.
and yesterday a halo player sent me a message saying “enjoy the ip hax” before he and the rest of his team quit my match. i reported the message but is this that?

yes you did, you must have quit enough games to be put on quit probation, when you are on quit probation every quits gets you banned for 10 mins, lagg outs and betrayal boots also count as quitting because the system doesn’t know the difference and because if it did people would abuse it to avoid being banned defeating the whole purpose of quit probation.
