Why do the need patches just increase cost?

We waiting weeks for patches and realistically all they need to do balancing for some OP units is increase cost. This is called economic management.

Anders Sentinels just need a price increase and use energy and you stop the spamming of units.

I’m confused. I don’t think increasing the cost of Sentinels would decrease the spamming. They would just attack you latter with the same number of units. You still don’t have any true counter outside of maybe Banshees, you still face the same number of overpowered units swarming you.

You do realise the best form of defence is offence? Ramp up the costs and it takes longer. Me and my teammate will have marines at your base nading you about 6min in, good luck with producing enough sentinals for me to care in that time. And when not rushing, scouting and harnessing will still allow me to get AA out in time. One player as banished as well, cloak bases, either that slows the Anders down due to having to cart nightinggales around, or she has to attack UNSC ally which is less bases to cover. Teleport over, use leap, beat them.

They are OP atm, do way too much to bases. But I think if they just dialed the base damage back they’d be fine as they are, maybe a slight power increase. But your assumption they can’t be countered is just wrong, you’re just thinking counter as in pure fighting the army head on, which is illogical

To be completely honest, id rather each time the fix the units they do more than just a cost upgrade. After the latest scout Nerf I feel that they are far weaker and less useful in hat they were originally meant for, scouting and early tier anti infantry.

If Ca choose to take more time a dressing each issue as apposed to just upping price is be much happier. At the end of this games lifespan I don’t want to see units that had good ideas but ultimately were needed to oblivion because fans demanded quick patches and other bias bs

Ah right. In that case got to say I disagree. Senitnals do way to much damage to bases, but aren’t great at killing infantry, AA or other air units on mass. They are well costed, bar maybe abit cheap in power. But the rate they melt bases is INSANE.

I agree, they need to focus more on what a unit is capable of doing instead of just increasing cost

Yes it will reduce spamming because you will need more money and power to build 1 unit. The problem right now is to you can build a entire fleet in just 10-15 minutes. So the player actually has to think fast with a price increase should i waste my money on this unit or this one? If i wait to build those units, will the opposing player be at my base before i have enough of them?

Maybe if you read the patch notes. They said they are working on a solution to balance the units/ leaders. Without completely Nerfing them making them useless

You would think it would be simple right? But I am no coder.

With that said, Anders Sentinels need more than just an increase in cost. Their build times need to be slower too
