Why do the last bosses have to be 200 vp's?

What was wrong with 150?

I never thought someone would be complaining about how an extra 50VP’s like it is a bad thing.

Since they’ve added Mythic bosses, these now count for 200 VP. (And lets face it, Mythic bosses are more difficult to take down than Legendary bosses, it encourages you to actually go for the kill)

They also changed Legendary bosses to be 100 VP, reason being that this won’t create that big of a gap between teams anymore. Now a losing team has more of a chance to make a comeback.

When your team is winning and the enemy gets that one lucky shot on the boss and propels the enemy team into the lead to win, only then would you understand my frustration.

That’s the entire function of these bosses, to allow a large sum of points to one team to change the tide of battle.

Best way to do that? Make sure you’re constantly putting damage on the boss while making sure the other team can’t get to the boss.

When you’re playing on Stormbreak that’s difficult.

It isn’t particularly easy on any map, though.

But in the big scheme of things, now that there can be two 100-point Legendary bosses and one 200-point Mythic boss, the three biggest AI enemies now represent 400 total VP instead of 450. As a result, there is actually less emphasis on bosses who are a big Victory Points bucket and more strategy utilized during the rest of the match.

Warden Eternal on Stormbreak is the very definition of that. He spawns in the tunnel, the tunnel only has two entrances, control both of them, now you have the boss to yourself.

There’s only so much one person can do.

It’s a good thing there’s 12 of you on that team.
