It’s probably the most difficult Halo to master since Halo 3.
There are so many features that can be used against you that you have to be prepared for, and once you get up to the higher ranks, you’ll be decimated if you aren’t playing often.
This game isn’t noob friendly at all. It’s fair more difficult than Halo 2, Halo reach and Halo 4 were IMO.
It’s noob friendly because the AR is a pretty good multi-use weapon you can master quite quickly. You are right, it’s a tough game to master.

If you can do well using just an AR you’re probably a badass
So many things outclass the AR including the Magnum which is also a starter

You kind of contradicted yourself. You said the AR makes the game noob friendly, yet the game is difficult to master?
You can go up against lower skilled players and own everyone with the AR, but if you’re against skilled players you will get destroyed.
The game requires you to know when to use AR and when to use pistol.

Pretty much everything out-classes the AR if you know how to use those weapons. The AR is accessible and easy to use.
The AR is a OP weapon which you need to get a PERFECTKILL with a BR in order to survive a fight with one.When the BR is supposed to be treated like a power weapon but can be effortlessly slaughtered by a load out weapon then we have a problem.Alai,it’s range is practically a BR as well and it melts shields.
This game ,imo,is easier than h4 because you can walk straight at someone with ARs,SMGs and storm rifles and win the gunfight which is just…UGH.How does this game take more skill when a load out weapon is doing better than -Yoink!- power weapons AND takes very little skill to use.This is why I exclude the BR from this because it actually has a skill ceiling.

I mean, it all depends on how close you are, right? The BR has significant more range than the AR. If you’re trying to beat someone in CQB and their weapon is better at that range, you’re just asking to get beat.

Same here.
Seriously this game has a less than subtle learning curve to it even for Halo vets.
Lower time to kill, faster movement options, sprint/slide/clamber, broken power weapons, BR starts on just about every game mode and horrible vehicle design. I mean I got more, but its obvious why people are quitting matches.

Lowe time to kill? BR is still 4 shot, pistol takes 5 good headshots to kill someone. The AR is more powerful but if you know how to use BR/Pistol you will often beat AR noobs.
BR starts in every game mode? Only in BTB bro.
People are quitting matches because they are getting owned and can’t be bothered to get good. You either stay in a match and try against all odds, or you quit like a -Yoink!- and continue doing so simply because you are not having fun, completely disregarding the experiences of others on the game.
Some people think a lot of things. Doesn’t mean they are right or wrong. Personally I have not seen people say that this game is noob friendly. Halo Reach and 4, were geared towards the casual gaming community, while H5 is geared towards more the competitive community. There is a huge skill gap in this game, which makes me happy.
