Why do some people play on sensitivity 5+ ?

I dont understand why people think a super high sense is good for halo. How do you stay on target?

Anything above 3.5 just doesn’t work for me. Even 3.5 feels too fast at times. Halo 5 aiming in a nutshell.

I play on 6 in Halo 5, and on 8 in every other Halo game. It’s all a matter of preference.

I play on either 6-7. I mainly play warzone assault so having it on 6-7 is great and for me its still easy to get perfect kills.

For swat having higher sensitivity is a double edge sword for me.

The larger my television, the higher I can turn my sensitivity. On my smaller set, I run a 3 sensitivity, but on my larger monitor I can go up to 5-6. That’s just the way I play.

I play at a high level and play 2 horizontal and vertical with 2 accel and it works awesome for me.

I prefer a low sensitivity in Halo. I play on 5 right now. Given the low ttk and amount of shots you have to land a low sensitivity makes it easier to stay on target. Back when I played CoD though I would play on max because quick target acquisition is more important than landing many consecutive shots because more or less whoever lands the first hit wins the gunfight.

I play with 10 sensitivity, 1 acceleration and both stick deadzones turned down to zero. It’s almost perfect and I have gotten used to it, but I would like to be able to set my sensitivity a few points higher than 10 to match my COD sensitivity. Anything lower than 8 sensitivity makes me feel slow and crippled as I cant turn around fast enough.

Not to be rude but…how is that working for you? I think it would help you to a lot to turn it down.

i play on 10 everything else just seems slow

I play on 6 because it’s what I’ve been playing with since halo 3. I also enjoy having people sneak up on me only for me to to whip around at 1000 miles an hour and shotgun them.

I usually play on around 7-8 on classic titles, but due to the very weird aiming system in H5 anything above 3 feels very inconsistent.

I am usually top player k/d wise with between 20 and 30 kills in most games. I did however start with acceleration at 5 and I felt it was totally impossible to snipe for instance even though I did good with most other weapons. Thing is, I jump between Halo and COD a lot so if I have low sens in Halo and high in COD ill just do horrible in both games overall.

I play on 8, played on 10 on every other game. Just fits my play style and the playlists I play. I like to be able to turn around quickly.
My wife plays on 4 and if I ever play for her it drives me crazy.

Ive never understood the high sensitivities. To each their own.

Commit to one game and you will be way better. Also, make sure your deadzones are at 0. Most pro players are anywhere from 3-5 on their sensitivity.

Can totally understand the insane high sensitivity settings if ur using keyboard and mouse, but how on earth are u all able to manage that on a controller???

They usually aren’t very good.

haha XD

I play with the following settings:

Sensitivity - 10
Look Acceleration - 5
Inner Dead Zone - 0%
Outer Dead Zone - 0%

I like fast, snappy aiming; really helps in close quarters or as Last Man Standing in Infection. However, that doesn’t mean that I can be a competent sniper either. I’ve gotten a Snipeltaneous and a Killionaire on the same night while using these settings. But even with my settings cranked to the maximum, it’s still not fast enough for my tastes…I NEED TO GO FASTER THAN THIS.
