Why do Slayer games still start 4 vs 2?

When two people quit before the teams are even shown in the lobby… really… why not make it 3 vs 3?

Sadly we were stuck in a DLC map, which maybe 5-10% of the population has, so nobody joined and it was a sad time.

Either their connection is horrible, the servers are screwing up, or they are just quitting because they think its fun.

Again, the two people on my team dropped off before we voted on a map or teams were shown in the lobby.

Same reason why the Active Camo with motion tracker glitch is still in the game and many other issues, because 343.

Join in progress is stupid. It starts games with un-even teams (even more painful in objective gametypes), allows you to back out before voting instead of locking you in to a game, and allows quitting (and as a result of these points, encourages it) among other things.

Thats -Yoink- annoying, I’m bored of playing 1vs4 cuz server don’t want to balance teams before match start. Then a noob join in the team almost in the match ending, see that he is against 4 players, dies sometimes then just quit and you r all alone, losing and pissed.

It’s a valid question.

I’ve had this happen as well and started slayer matches three on one from the lobby.

Your question is just and a good one at that. A simple minded system, is it not?

Yet 343 cannot comprehend such basic essentials to make a game that much better.

Kinda like that and the ranking system they should’ve put in the game

The JIP system might have helped but it was a DLC map so we played through the whole time with nobody joining.

Let’s see… if blue team has two more people then red team, make one blue player red… if red team has two more players than blue team, make one red player blue.

There’s got to be a way to code that.
