Multiplayer has been getting so much better? He is only one guy and i’m certain he doesn’t have that much influence on what happens, especially since he’s only been there for months.
Honestly, there’s a whole team working on matchmaking, it isn’t right or fair to only give Bravo the credit for the work that all of them are doing…
Why do you think MP has been getting so much better? The only things they’ve done is add Team Doubles and Grifball, which never should have been out of the playlist selection to begin with, not to mention every game of Grifball lags due to the Forge maps that have to generate the lighting. Team Doubles is alright if you can manage to get the Pro version instead of the mind numbing Infinity version.
I’ll wait for Team Throwdown and a TU to decide how much “better” MP is getting. Until then it’s still pretty lackluster for a Halo game.
He is responding and involved in the community unlike every other 343 MM employee for starters, so of course he gets the praise.
Also, after years and years of watching halo take steps backwards it is certainly suspect that only a few short months after he joins the team - the things the competitive community have been begging for are finally getting changed.
Well he’s a young adult, right? Like early 20s or something? That gives him a couple decades of maturity and ability above the rest of the 343 team. I don’t know anything about the guy, but having played Halo 4’s multiplayer I assume he’s the only member of the team that legally counts as an adult and doesn’t have to be burped.
Its not that hes getting all the credit but he is and has been one of the influential members of 343 starting to turn things around. They started off with people who didnt fully understand what they were getting in a halo franchise but they could make a game look great just not play great in match making. Thats why they are hiring people with the experience of multiplayer to get them going in the right direction. 343 as a team is doing better but without certain people being added we would still be at square one with no direction to go in.

HAHAHA I get it! He’s saying that the 343i MM team is made of babies! HAHAHA
People think that because he is the only name they know. The rest of the MM team anonymise themselves behind the collective ‘MM Systems Team’ name here on the forums. No one really knows who is a part of it.
So when a name they know just the team, and they start to see a couple of things they like, the only name they have in their heads is Bravo.
Same reason that BS Angel used to get most of the angry comments directed at her: she is the only one they know.
Actually because if you go to The Halo Council forums, he’s posting in nearly every single complaint/approval thread in response multiple times. If many people are saying they think that Rail has messed up initial ordnances, he’ll “look into it and see what he can do”
He was also supposedly (according to his post) mainly in charge for the doubles playlist settings/maps/variants etc. True 343 as a whole probably is doing all this stuff as well, but it’s clear to see from his posts, he CLEARLY wants to bring multiplayer back to its former glory (with the best competitive mixed with casual settings) and also is working as hard as he can to do so.
That’s why we are thanking Bravo specifically.
But yes, 343 deserves a ton of the credit as well. But Doubles being what is, in my and a ton of other people’s opinion, the best playlist in Halo currently, we are grateful for Bravo being on the Multiplayer team.
