WHY DO PEOPLE THINK BASES AREN'T IMPORTANT

We were at even state, we were both at 700-750 vp, we got the wardan, but for some reason, no one decided to help defend bases after the boss, “it’s only 100 vp to win” BUT NOPE, WE LOST TWO BASES AT THE SAME TIME the time it took us to get 50 points, the enemy got 200, because they had triple the amount of points and NOT A SINGLE TEAM MATE, EVEN HELPED TO CAPTURE A BASE! but we lost with 11 vp to win, because no one even attempted to capture a base. Do their brains just not understand how ******* simple the game is???

You’re just playing with bad team mates unfortunately.

Bases give you benefits?

Yes, bases are crucial. That’s why I think AIs who protect them are not over-powered. They are just right because you should not be able to take over a base alone.

  • Buff KD - New to game - Generally bad - Incompetent - Bases to heavily fortified - Over confidenceThese come to mind.

Are you just going to keep reposting this over and over again?

I’ve had these matches too where my team didn’t bother capturing bases anymore because they thought we’ve already won after the warden… it’s really annoying. These kind of reversals also happen a lot in wza defenders and strongholds.

Some people think its all about kills

These are people that aren’t team players. Like those with barely any points, and a high Spartan kill count are generally just farming for their own enjoyment and don’t give a -Yoink- about playing as a team.

They’re only important it you care about winning.

K/D. Thats all for warzone current players.
Warzone firefight is the end for casual abusers and regular warzone.

one of my most fun warzone games was winning a match on Apex without holding any bases for essentially the whole game, it was total chaos

it happens so often i ask my self this every match, so, telling more people = people actually knowing on how to play the game

lol speaking of which we were down 800 to 200 the just hit warden so it was 950 while they were focused on warden we triple capped them and drove 4 ultra ghosts into their core and destroyed it before they could take back a base

That almost happened this morning. We were up by about 350 points and one teammate said we couldn’t lose now with our lead. …as they took over all 3 bases. Luckily some teammates captured 2 right after it happened. Just because there is a big lead doesn’t mean the other team can’t storm your core.

ghosts are too overpowered… and thats what i keep my railguns for…

Exactly. The Marines are there to stop the Solo Take Over and run start.

Or it just becomes spam. Plus, I’m sure a large amount of peopling playing Halo (especially the ones you are having trouble with) don’t come here, ever.

It winds me right up when your the only one who tries to recapture a base because everyone else is rushing in the opposite direction to kill aliens!

The other thing some do is stand back camping just trying to shot enemy coming out of the base, I don’t mean covering fire I mean sat snipering the door
way.

I get so mad I switch on my mic and yell “Now you got your “fooking” alien can one of you please help me get a base now !”

Bases score you points where as going for aliens as a random chance of not getting a single point !

Could someone explain how much points we earn for each base under our control please ?

I thought it was :
0 point / seconde for zero or one base controlled
1 point / seconde for two bases controlled
2 points / seconde for three bases controlled
