first off I know campaign is missing an n I just couldn’t fit it in the 50 limit. Secondly I see so many posts here on waypoint so why halo 5 is bad but then only talking about campaign. Campaign isn’t be all end all people actually multiplayer is the most important. So stop with halo 5 is bad and if you must say the campaign is bad. NOT THE WHOLE GAME.
i don’t think you’re reading the right posts, because i know for a fact there are people complaining about alot more than just the campaign. req system, gamemodes, maps for example. thats just a couple of the many many complaints people have. campaign is just one part of it.

For a start, people have a million things to complain about with Halo 5, campaign is not the only thing.
Secondly, multiplayer is not the most important definitively. Halo has always been known for having a story that’s at least coherent, H5 doesn’t have such a story, as it was sloppy, didn’t make much sense, was blatantly false advertised and it really undermined the past 2 years of combined sub plots.
The whole game has an incredible amount of issues. From its terrible servers, to its lackluster content, to its appalling arena focus. Halo 5 strayed so far from what made Halo special that there’s an unrealistic amount of topics to complain about. Hence all the hate.

The campaign is the biggest reason I purchase the game. This is followed by PVE which we should get in a couple weeks. This is followed by multiplayer. The multiplayer is still missing four of my favorite game modes. It’s still missing my favorite playlist. The campaign was bad. THe multiplayer is half-finished.
Here’s a better title, “Why say Halo 5 is bad due to the campaign?”
And to answer your question, the campaign is just one part of the story. For starters, there’s recent rumors swirling around that re-writes happened at the last moment by the forced hand of 343i on behald of MS. Now I don’t know how much credibility that offers, but for a campaign that lasts merely 5 hours but feels more like 30 mins because you don’t actually play with the person you’ve been wanting too for almost 3 years, Master Chief (I’m not big on the Arbiter split, either), some folks are P’Oed.
Now, the crowd which usually would of stayed with the campaign and trying it on various difficulties, speed running, all of that fun stuff that has happened before, are relinquished to play a slew of multiplayer game types that neither cater to their play style a.k.a kind of fun, or are just overwhelmingly broken by exploitation taken on behalf of a -Yoink!- community which neither Microsoft or 343i intend on doing something to remedy the situation, instead falling on the idea “it doesn’t exist.” Now put two and two together, you end up with 5.
Campaign is the reason I buy Halo. To me, it’s the most important aspect of the games.
Guess you never heard the saying “buy for the campaign, stay for the multiplayer”
The multiplayer is why I bought the game, that’s my main concern.

Exactly.
