So i usually play in a team of 12 in warzone, and people often quit at the start right when we capture their armory, why do people do that? i don’t understand the purpose of playing a videogame if you are going to quit because you are losing, that’s like if you were playing a game of basketball and your team was down by a lot, people finish the game regardless, but here it seems everybody in warzone is a sore loser, it’s no fun playing against 4 people, the banhammer penalty should be the same as in arena.
I don’t really get it either.
Many reasons, caring too much about K/D ratio, more important things that might be happening in real life, disconnection or they might not even like the map.

but it seems like right after we capture their armory, like 5 people quit at once, like come on people learn how to lose.
Server disconnects I think are to blame in quite a lot of cases, but I might be being too kind to people / too harsh on 343 (though they don’t exactly have a spotless record with their servers). Certainly if people are leaving on purpose to preserve an oh so precious win/lose ratio, they need to get over themselves and stop being -Yoinks!- to their team mates. I think there should be some sort of boost that scales based on the number of quitters on your team to keep the game evenly matched even with different numbers on each side. Passive over shield / speed boost type effect I’m thinking. And / or damage boost.
I had an idea of what was going to be typed but then i read the first few words. Players want a good competative game and not be stuck in their armoury being killed immediately, or are you not that kind of 12 player fireteam?
Anyway i dislike arena when someone dies like 3 times and quit. I’ve come back from alot worse. I’ve only had one game ever when i’ve thought about quitting. It was an arena when we went 2 vs 4. If that player hadn’t have stayed i would of left. We lost but ran the time out.
I like to play against fireteams in warzone as a solo player becuase i imagine each kill as ruining your day.
Edit: op is trolling… Farms groups of randoms with a fireteam. People quit because they want a fair game.
People recognize the signs of being against a full 12 man team and sometimes just aren’t interested in investing play time into a one sided, non competitive match. We can all tell if we are outmatched pretty quickly and warzone games can drag on so long, even when it’s clear who will win. I don’t quit those games but I did find myself in the back of our core today goofing off with three other guys. When the score is 650-150 and they have all three bases what’s the point really. You aren’t coming back no matter what Palmer says.
It’s just not fun to get crushed quick. You wouldn’t like it if they capped your armory from the start. I think people playing in entire full 12 Man Teams is sad. Warzone is casual. Arena is the competitive. That’s like being a Gourmet Chef and going up to a McDonalds employee and challenging him to a hamburger cooking contest. You make the most wonderful hamburger to start out with. He sees it, acknowledges he can’t do better, then walks out. Instead of letting you run circles around him. It’s not fun for him. And for a lot of people, video games are a place to have fun. I leave games when I’m not having fun, because that’s my only goal. It’s not to win, it’s not to have an amazing KD, it’s not to be the best in at the game. It’s to have fun. So once you take the fun away for some people, what reason do they have to play the game? The simple answer is, they have no reason. And you wanting people to stop complaining and lose is just wanting to kick a dead horse. Not everyone is competitive or cares as much.
If you want me to be honest; it’s because I’m not enjoying myself. That’s the point of playing any game, if I’m not enjoying myself, what’s the point in playing?
If I’m getting destroyed, it’s no longer fun, so I’m leaving. Which, is a big part of why I have an issue with quit banning.

How exactly is playing in a full team sad? warzone is a TEAM game, why would it be wrong to play withing a full team?

So say if you are playing football at your school, and you are loosing badly, you quit? That is very unsportsmanlike.
I quit because of lag. I have been disconnected several times and lost rp and xp boosts

Football doesn’t compare. In football, both teams are made up of people who are friends. Imagine playing football with a team who has played together forever, and a team who has never met before and is playing together only this one time. They don’t give a -Yoink- about after some point. Why would they?

Heck, if I had a full fireteam of friends I’d spend my time playing Custom Games, and not trying to crush ransoms in Warzone.

You’re slicker than most trolls on the forum, I’ll admit that.
I think they quit because they’re afraid of getting farmed.
That said, on one occasion I did trip-cap another team that came back and beat me. It can happen.
I avoid it as much as possible and I totally hate when people do it, but after dragging through so many hopeless matches, I understand where some people who quit are coming from now.

If there were warzone or firefight customs, that’s where i’d be, but there isn’t, although i’ll admit, winning almost every match is pretty fun too.
